Hey guys, you might have noticed the new toolbar at the top of your screen.

This is something that I'll be trialing over the next few weeks and I'd like as much feedback as possible!

It shares some of the same features as the navigation bar, but it also has some other cool features such as instant page sharing.

The cooler thing about the toolbar is that it allows tagging! You can now type '@username' and that person should get a notification telling them that they've been tagged. Example- @SiCar

If you have a username with a space or special characters, you must add " " After the @ and at the end of the name
Examples - @"user name" @"user-name"


Let me know what you guys think! If it gets a positive response I'll look into getting the forumotion logo changed to our own logo, but since it's a paid feature I'd rather not do it until we've tested it

being able to tag people is an awesome feature and I'm stoked we have it. it's probably a better way to get my attention than anything else aha

Nice addition to the forum, it gives it some extra spice!

One question, when you tag someone in a post do they get a notification of when you tagged them? Not like I ever get tagged in anything, but for future reference.

Also, when I get a new PM I get a notification when I log in and then an additional pop up appears in a different tab when someone messages me, could you possibly change it so I'm not getting multiple notifications for one message? Just a suggestion

I actually did get a notification for when you tagged me in your post, sweet.

The toolbar is pretty neat!

I've wanted tagging for so long, great to have it now

Is there anyway to set it so that the only notifications are if you get tagged or someone replies to your thread?

Go to Profile>Notifications and you can arrange what you'll get notifications for. If you watch your own threads it'll let you know when someone replies.
