hey guys,
usually i just use a file to grip my decks, but i was wondering if anyone has any other techniques that have cleaner results? getting sick of the ruffled edges on my board.

use a really fine file, you can probably even use a nailfile. Honestly all sharp edges work for cutting tape if you just scratch the edge of the board on it smoothly

I use scissors.... not the blade, but there is usually a sharp edge on the other side of the blade... same motion as a file ...

a fine, rounded metal file works best for me. try to file fast and in different angles, results can be almost perfect, but depends on the tape you use.

use TNP tape and 45 degree angle. file off edges afterwards for a better finish. I believe paul (frostiefb) cuts his tape first and his tape always looks perfect.

Emory board, it will get it off exact and perfect! (Emory boards are those foam, really fine grit nail files in case you didn't know).
