To put it straight, they stole the old mold which was x2305853924802 better than the current one. One of the deck makers for BW physically stole the mold and tried to use it to make decks for these two companies. (I believe this is how it went down. Anyone feel free to correct me if I'm wrong.)

Yeah dude. I remember his name was Johannes, and at first he was really cool, but then out of nowhere he pulled that shit and showed his true colors. Shifty thing about it was that Nollie wheels were actually pretty nice for their price of $14 USD at the time. Shame he had to play onto that.

Disclaimer: I am not a primary source so this may not be 100% accurate just like you said
The BW old mold was never actually stolen but wicked stix sold some decks that were made with the mold without permission and sold them on a big site back in the day called skateboard headquarters (SHQ, i'm sure you remember). SHQ didn't respond to berlinwood about the counterfeit decks and sided with wicked stix even though I am pretty sure they sold real berlinwoods on their webshop too. Word got out about the drama like it always does and wicked stix people started going crazy flaming berlinwood and brr on the internet basically destroying their reputation. SHQ saw the flaming eventually and cut all ties with wicked stix people and since they owned the domain (and maybe the company) they shut down the website.

I wish I still had my BW old mold from ~06. I miss that old shape and that old price.

Damn man, that is definitely some scandalous crap. I know everyone makes mistakes, but that sounds pretty intentional. But I do also believe in karma and the fact that everyone has a time where what they have done will reflect in the life that they live.

All misfortune aside, I was fortunate enough to get a couple things in the mail today







As you can see, all the graphics have a different shape which makes this graphic series to be pretty dope if you ask me. Now If I could just find the Owl graphic, There will happy in my soul like stink on shit . lol.

Thanks guys, i really love the layers on it, also the yellow looks gold in the right light its pretty sexy. it feels amazing compared to what im used to 33.3mm is where its at IMO.

i highly dislike them, i contacted the person because they took forever to get and then when i set them up i found out one of the wheels was flatspotted due to a lathing error. not stoked, id use any other wheels if i had anything lol
