| I was guessing that, some people say theirs have lasted for years, some say otherwise. I'm probably going to stop by harbor freight anyway tommorow just to check it out. Anyone else? |

| Not sure about sanders specifically, but more often than not I find you get what you pay for. Especially when it comes to electronics and such. Might be worth the extra money in the long run. |

| Ok, I'll probably buy the more expensive one, just that $50 deal is insane |

| Don't buy the harbor freight one. All my tools from harbor freight have been absolutely terrible. I have or similar to the one you linked from home depot and it's lasted me a while. |

| See you have already ordered it, but for what it's worth:
I have bought tons of tools off Harbor Freight and it's truly hit or miss. Some things I have gotten - Motorcycle Stand, Motorcycle Trailer, Circular Saw, Table Saw - have lasted forever and I have had 0 issues. What I did have issues with is - sockets, screw drivers, hand sander, drill - so honestly man it may last forever and it may break down. For fingerboards, the Harbor Freight one will probably last quite awhile as it isn't exactly using it to its full potential. You should be okay. |
