| Hi guys, I've been fbing now for the last 12-13 years. In that time I've tried and owned a lot of decks, from the classic era of Hazard, Vegas, Athena, Arctic etc to the newer decks such as yellowood, Flatface, Redemption, Blosom etc etc. I like to keep my eye on the market for new and interesting companies and when I saw that Kinkalla had a new stock I was quite interested. They've been around for a while now but I'd been unaware of them. I checked out the site and was blown away by the amazing prices! Lots of different sizes too, so if you like to experiment with shapes and sizes, there's lots of unique decks to try. I payed £8 (inc delivery) for a deck and there's not many other companies that can offer such a good price for hand crafted decks! My order came in less than a week (even though there was a 4 day bank holiday this week!) and was packed nicely. Alex had in fact sent me 2 decks!? 1 was a gift for being the first UK order. The decks came in a really nice hand crafted box and he'd also included a piece of rip and a piece of grip. I ordered a Heisenberg deck (Because, why not?) and was really impressed with the level of detail in the deck. I was intrigued by the size (31x98) and also the shape looked superb. The free deck was a blank which was a bit longer and had a little more concave. It looked great. Beautiful craftsmanship. I set up the Heisenberg with the rip included and a pair of td wides with some older wheels. I usually struggle adapting to new rip because I think it's easy to become totally accustomed to old stuff! But I can genuinely say that this is possibly the best performing deck that I've ever used. It allows me to flick harder and pop harder and be able to control the deck with more ease. This deck is wonderful. I would really really recommend that you go to the website and buy one of these beauties. I don't think they'll be flying under the radar much longer! (I'll be posting photos soon) http://kinkalla.bigcartel.com/ |
