Hey all,

I'm pretty old and so most people my age and younger find it weird I'm still into finger boarding but I've been finger boarding back since the days of 'moshmelloz' and probably earlier like since 2003 maybe before!

Anyway I've just decided to buy a proper wooden fingerboard setup and am waiting for it to be shipped now! This is exciting because the last time I was serious about finger boarding was when people used to use clipped down elastic bands for bushes on their tech deck trucks

I am amazed by the fact fingerboard wheels have bearings in now and everything is just scaled down from skateboards haha. Way cooler than before.

Does anyone remember moshmelloz? Or has heard of it before? And if so, do you remember ever watching finger boarding videos with guys wearing scream masks doing the finger boarding?

If so then I was the face behind those videos.... Which I no longer know the whereabouts of!

Anyways I'm new to the forum but not new to the game I'm thinking of building some cool stuff so stay tuned!

Well welcome to FBHQ! Pretty sure everyone has heard of moshmelloz. If you look at the recent moshmelloz thread someone posted a link to a few tutorials. Don't think I remember the scream fingerboarding guy but that's awesome that you were the one behind them.

I'm gonna be honest I haven't fully scoured this forum yet I've just been checking out people's plazas and parks for inspiration and thinking about doing concrete one but will probably be wood as it just looks so smart imo!

Got any of their ramp designs? I remember reconstructing them with cardboard and straws for coping haha.

Thanks man! Well it's pretty sweet to be honest I've had a play around and ended up buying another setup form blackriver haha!

Got to transfer tricks from td to wood as they're so different and way wider but I like it. Ollies are super controlled on them it seems!

Hey. I'm not active on here but I wanted to post and say welcome! You are not alone! There are plenty of older fingerboarders, in the UK and worldwide. I started around 2000 but not sure of the exact year. If you're in Bristol, you should definitely get in touch with Kerry if you haven't already.
