| First of, we are not totally a new company, we have had past experience. We are always trying to develop different methods every day on ways of changing or improving are fingerboards. We feel we are "legit", and take time and pride on our products.
https://www.youtube.com/user/blackmarketfbs/ . There, you can find also updates, and packaging videos for people that have ordered.
I would now like to give you a video on our board shapes. Currently we are working with oak, which we feel is a GREAT veneer to work with, providing a very nice weight, and really nice "pop. https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=jSwb3pCDkmo There, is where you will find a video in which sent 4 buyers my way, so I am assuming they loved the board. I am just trying to give you a more "in-depth" look.
We recently started making 6 ply boards, when we realized that we had more leeway with the oak, like said before, being it was very easy yet durable to work with. We also look at the science behind things before going through with it. Every new design is put to the test BEFORE hand, and then we let a selected amount of very trusted "partners" to decide if the go ahead should be done.
Here are some pictures: Also, another popular item is kingpins: These are probably some of the best kingpins we have used: Why? Not only are they durable, you can also use a tech deck tool to tighten them, making them VERY strong and VERY easy to work with, but yet probably the most awesome thing about them? They can be used as replaceable axles! Yes, buy 4, and you now have replaceable axles: No more using nuts or getting them lost.
We also have high-quality o-rings, which come with washers!
Sorry about the pictures lacking real "goodness", some were taken before others at different processes in finishing.

Jank? Hmm...I guess the bushings are not up to standard, but according to several happy customers and the fact that they are apparently the same type of bushings as FBS O-Rings, and the sanding was good in almost all but a few, because like stated, "They were taken during different processes of finishing". And you can tell which plies are which in person. The only reason I don't sand the top is because I think its pointless: The tape covers it, and I prefer it without. |
