i've recently applied paper graphics onto decks, but kept running into the problem of having those white edges from the paper. now i'm considering to sand a ply, paint it white, dry, run it through a printer and then use it as a bottom ply. would this be a good option or are there any better ones out there? i heard something about water slide decals, but those look like see-though plastic stickers instead of real vibrant graphics.

thanks for the quick heads up. today i happened to test acryllic paint on wood to see how it wears and it wears real quick, but so realistically. maybe a layer of lacquer will help.

I love graphics like that, woodprint as usual. Run the ply through the printer and apply the graphic onto it. Then cut off the edges of the paper on the ply. It'll turn out good.

yup. laser printers should be better, i guess (at least gfx are at least affected by water-based lacquer if you use an inkjet)
