| I found Closeup's were pretty good intro setups. Cost about £26. Though now I look around you could probably get a whole setup from different companies for still way under £100. |

| watch eBay and instagram for some deals. I would start off with getting tech deck longboard trucks, a decent deck (berlinwood) and some wheels. that'll be under 100 |

| Wheels: Ywheels or Oaks - If you think you'd prefer softer wheels Winklers or flatface - hard wheels
Deck: much wider choice here. Weca always gets love in my book, but it depends on availability. Homewood are always available and a solid choice too.
Trucks: Tech Deck Longboard Trucks. There are two types, make sure you get the traditional nut and kingpin rather than the inverted kingpin type.
Should come to under 100 pretty easily and will serve as a main for a long time. You could upgrade the tuning with any money you had left. Witchcraft or level up bushings, locknuts, boardrails etc.
If you do go for a complete (flatface or closeup or whatever) the trucks will almost certainly be 29mm and need to be upgraded one way or the other pretty soon. 29mm trucks are basically too narrow for today's 32mm+ decks and give the board are wobbly, unstable feel.

| If you follow enough people on Instagram you will eventually find individual components for pretty cheap. I ended up getting a brand new Califingers blank ($10 at the time), New BRTs off Insta for $45, and Oaks for $20. That's a really good deck for under $100. You could almost get any deck with those kind of deals too. But it will take you a few months of searching. |
