| Hey guys, I need everyone's opinion. So basically, I have this really old Yellowood z1 Idea that's totally beaten to hell. There's no lacquer left, and the graphic is chipping around the edges and it basically looks like ass. I kind of want to refinish it, sand the graphic up, re-lacquer etc. but I don't want to ruin a Yellowood Classic. Wat do?
I would post pics, but my camera is broken currently. Rest assured it's pretty thrashed. lol |

| send it to someone who knows what they are doing and has experience with this sort of thing. if you have never done anything like this b4 you will screw it up, and use the wrong lacquer's etc. |

| yeah what blosom said is true. he knows. dont do it urself unless u have the know how. cause even a trashed deck can become something greater than it was before if done right. |

| Oh, don't worry about that. I've dabbled in deck making and I refinish decks for other people all the time. I'm not the most experienced, but I know enough and have the proper tools to not screw it up. |

| No, you're missing my point. What I'm asking is if I should tamper with an extremely rare, sought after deck? I know I can refinish it without fucking up, I'm just wondering if it's worth it. lol |

| I'd say, if its totally mashed, its not got really much collectors value, and refinishing might up the value, so, I'd do it. Up to you though |

| Didn't Danny say he uses a weird lacquer? I'm not sure if he changed it though or if I'm thinking correctly. |

| Alright, I was talking about redemption, but I wasn't sure if he changed it. You cleared it all up though. And Jack, I read an old thread a couple days ago about it. |
