What we need:
More pictures = clean jpeg action shots of people fingerboarding (pictures you took and own the rights to)

tutorials = Trick tutorials with text / pictures

News / Updates = About a page IDK

Anthing FB related that sounds cool and you want to contribute,do that
not everything submitted will be included but everything submitted will be looked at and considered.

Contributors will receive:
1 free copy of the finished mag (payed for by me alone)
Full credit for there work, on page and in the index
Exposure, this mag will be for sale and available online

A) pod physical copies will be listed for sale on at least 2 publishers web sites (scouting more)

B) Preprinted Physical copies will be available for sale at my FB site with Free world wide shipping

C) I will have ads on my other non FB sites for the mag ( 1,000 + uniques daily)

D) I will run an advertising campaign threw adwords with a daily budget that will far exceed demand

I noticed near the begining of the thread there are some coments about the expence of making a magazine..... this is not true, lol

Whats wrong with doing it yourself? maybe printing them yourself? i mean i personally think that if you keep it as personal as possible then you would feel much more passionite about it... maybe thats just me... But if you were to do it this way it would be minumal cost, yo could sell the zine at a nice affordable price... there are alot of bands i listen too that print there own ''magazines'' and sell them for like £2.50...

You could print them slightly thicker ''glossy'' paper, and bobs your uncle!

Yes they are gonna be printed professionally on glossy paper in all color. And the cost per issue is probably gonna be around $2.95 (1.85 gbp) for this .05 first issue plus shipping.

All submissions are in.

in the magazine you can do "How To" stuff and a part on tips. Like if your gonna buy a deck you should look at how long it will last. things like that.

theirs a lot of how to's all ready like maybe to many :0 but they are all from me next time we'll have more contributors

you should ask big companies ( Flatface, Black River Ramps) to put it on there websites. or ask okay size companies. also you could put there logo in the magazine.

Nah forget those big companies , they are rich let them do there own thing.

i can put the link up on fbweekly once you have something to put up.....i know i missed the deadline for putting some stuff in the mag....it seemed like it went so quickly.....ill have some stuff for the next issue, and well, name credit goes to me i guess

i think a little cool thing wen it gets up and running maybe add like

a pull out poster, Stickers, Tape, hardware with selected issues in specific months??

it will be professional printed POD, Print On Demand , that means they won't print any copies of the magazine until some one actually wants it. There are no set up fees and you don't even have to order any copies at all. LULU is probably the best known POD also the most expensive.we won't be using them

okay i got it. also is the magazine out yet?

No not even finished yet, I got off my original dead line and now I've become to busy to work on it. It's going to be 24 pages. at this point about 19 pages are completely done.

After its done,first printing can take as long as 6 weeks plus shipping time.after it is set up anybody ordering the mag straight from the printer will not have to wait the 6 weeks since it will be set up in there system all ready.

what if the consumer buys a pdf file and print it themselves for less $$?
