Well.. I've been there, a lot, back in my mid to late teen years, didn't leave the house for a few months at one point, so, yea, I totally know how shit this is.

I wanted to give up soo many times, and honestly I don't know what one thing made me not. I think it was just keeping the little things around that made me smile a bit. I always found this quote I found somewhere helped me when I was feeling really down and about to give up.
"The path to our destination is not always a straight one. We go down the wrong road, we get lost, we turn back. Maybe it doesn't matter which road we embark on. Maybe what matters is that we embark."

Some noteable music that helped me back in the day..
-almost all of placebo's albums, not modern stuff though.. Without you I'm nothing + sleeping with ghosts are great albums.
-"23" by jimmy eat world (from 'futures')
-"hiding inside the horrible weather" by my american heart (from 'hiding inside the horrible weather')
-the album 'damnation' by opeth (probably the most listened to album of back in that time in my life) and also the songs "hours of wealth" and "isolation years" by opeth of their album 'ghost reveries' (which you'll see a poster to in the background of most of my latest fb videos, haha)

Those are all sad songs btw, but, I think they helped me by helping me reflect on myself, and work through what was in my mind, to get to a better place.

I could list more, so, yea, if you want I can come up with a much more concise list, thats just stuff off the top of my head at midnight. I have 11857 songs in my music library so its hard to keep track of them all off the top of your head XD

For some brighter, but still not overall a happy song, but a very good song, is 'silhouettes' by swimming with dolphins (a side project of a friend of the guy who does owl city, used to have owl city helping him on tour but I think ever since adam young (owl city) went huge he doesn't have time to tour with swimming with dolphins any more. Might be wrong on that last bit. Regardless its still one of my favourite songs ever)

Flex.. shh up, owl city isn't gay ^_^ Go listen to the album before ocean eyes (what fireflies was on), its called 'maybe I'm dreaming'. I have well over 1000 albums and its easily in my top 5 albums of all time. Soooo good.

To cheer yourself up.. watch shitty chic flic movies, they're soo bad they're fun and funny. Wild child.. or the hannah montana movie.. or high school musical/camp rock.. or any hilary duff movie.. Might sound really lame, and, it is, but, its supposed to be. Makes for some good cheering up.

Yeah just watch High School Musical 3 lol. I was looking for something to watch, and it passed by. It was so corny and stupid, I couldn't even watch the rest of it a that moment. And that's coming from soneone who watches all the Disney Channel movies lol. Idk why, I just do because they give me a good laugh. Or you can ummmm, well Idk how to explain this in a fine matter, but "choke the chicken", which I kinda recommend, but at the same time, don't, so your call on that one. Whatever you do though, don't do drugs, it'll make things soooo much more worse in the end, Sure it'll feel good the first few times, but it's not worth it. Well I've been typing for a while soooooo.......Cheer Up!

Seriously, if not high school musical, then some lameeee disney channel movies, or other lame movies like that. They're actually the best thing to cheer you up, because they're sooo lame. Words cannot express how good-lame the film 'wild child' is, haha. I even brought it for anna on DVD for our 1 year anniversary back in april XD
