ive just ordered some winklers and im putting them on my fingerdecks wide trucks will they be okay or do i need to glue the nut ??

I hope you have washers, otherwise the backs of your wheels are gonna get a bit eaten by your trucks, same with all single bearing wheels.
but, no, you don't need to glue the nut

i think wheel washers can do more damage to single bearing wheels than not having them on wide trucks......depends how much of a gap there is between the wheel/washer/nut tightened....i wouldn't use washers though...they have screwed sets of my wheels...

Would you suggest using them with G6d's on Spinal Wides? I've been waiting to ride them with washers so I don't destroy them, but should I?

i dunno? i cant see your trucks..........just use some common sense......have a look at your trucks and if their are any sharp parts on the part of the truck that touches your wheel, consider using washers.....but again, if you have lots of 'play' on the axle after the wheel is on and the nut is tightened, you might want to use washers to to tighten the 'play' up..........in my experience ive found washers do more harm than good in most cases........+ i cant stand riding wides with washers on the wheels cos they just ride funny.....

if you trucks have some rough parts on them that you are worried about, just take a nail file and sort it out.....

but i wouldn't use washers no.......hope that helps?

no worries...washers suck.....if you have a nice snug fit, your ok.....the backs wont wear out unless the backs of your wides are sandpaper.....also with your g6 ds you have nothing to worry about...they are fairly hardcore....

i used my g4 ds on my wides many, many moons ago....they were the trucks and wheels i used all the time b4 i got BRTs....i probably used them for a good 5 months hardcore use, no signs of wear on the backs......where as i used my NCD v3s with washers for about a week and the washers were digging in making marks and wearing the backs out........

holy cow, this transition from td wheels to g6d's is so hard to get used to, but I like it!

I'm used to having to roll harder with td's, but now I barely push it and they roll like forever lol

ahhhh your fingerboarding style will get soooo much nicer and cleaner once you get used to bearing wheels

My Kickflips are already a ton cleaner lol

I don't use washers either..
The majority always say your wheels will mess up with out them.
But really washers still wear your wheels out, mostly just slower but in the end it'll just cause a bigger hole in the back of the wheel..

Will I be fine without washers with NC V6's?
