it was probably a bad idea putting pics of the prizes up so early harry.......i learn that lesson too by putting up pics of my decks b4 they are ready for sale...

All you guys sound stupid.... You only get the products if you win the comps, they are ''prizes'' you dont get a prize for nothing. It seems to me that alot of you people are coming JUST to get free products....

If i had a company and was sponsoring the event then saw this:

That is what is happening eddie, kids are being just kids.

You're not going to get a free deck/wheels/tshirt and such if you don't place in the competitions or get something in the raffle. There is gonna be a raffle available for everyone, and probably a lot of stuff going out, but the winners of the competitions are gonna get the best stuff. There will, I imagine, be at least 1st, 2nd, and 3rd place prizes, and three competitions are being held.

the reason this event is being held is to unite the UK fingerboarders, to meet and have a wicked time. its great that their are lots of sponsors, but thats down to the sponsors and their kind generosity for sponsoring. its because of them their are prizes.

id be more happy going their meeting everyone and having a good time. then turning up their, no one their, then go home with all the sponsor stuff.

think about it. what does this event mean to you.... free stuff? or meeting people and fingerboarding?

if its the first, something is wrong.

also all the hard work going on behind the scenes to actually get this event to work.....i dont think some people realize sometimes....

also i agree the winner of the comps takes the biggest and best prizes....as its those who win who have more than likely been living fingerboarding the most.....next year if this event happens, just think, you can all practice fingerboarding 18 hours a day, then you might win a comp, so theoretically mad props go to the winners, as they have honed their skills after many years. money/prizes cant make up for that. although the best deserves them.

theirs only one guaranteed way to get a close up/redemption/NCD etc etc. buy them.

i would love to come just to meet everyone!

i have no friend that fingerboards basicly exept for one and he barely fingerboards... his using some platasic shit that aint even a tech deck.

I think im gonna give him an old board of mine or something just so he will keep fingerboarding, he gets soooo happy when he learns new stuffs ;D
