Sorry if this has been asked previously but what is the nearest place to stay. Is there a Travelodge or Holiday Inn or something?

if you sign up for the event, get the adress and type it into google maps and then you can check the nearest ones.

apparently the travel lodge and alternative hotel are just across the road from each other.

I'm sick of my OCD getting in the way, whenever someone says Travelodge, it really grinds my bones.

There isn't any travelodges in site near us, Premier Inns.

If you happen to have found a lodge, then don't mither me in this post.

I'm going in soon and writing a plan for the tables and stuff.

Yep, I arrive in Manchester about 11 at night on the 24th and leave on the morning of the 26th.
I have lectures all day on the 24th so I couldn't get there early for the pre-sesh unfortunately.

I think everyone whos staying is doing the same as you, I know I am

^ im not the plan is go to manchester on the 24th do the pre sesh go to my mums friends house in stockport stay the night then get up go back into manchester go to the event then stay the night at a hotel and then go back in the morning or stay in hotel both nights (but it cost like 100 quid ) or go to the hotel first day then go back on teh next day

It doesn't cost £100.. Our room is about £73 for both nights, and that's the largest room available.

Plus, it doesn't look like there'll be much of a pre-sesh now, haha

it probably is now Thom....if you book it now.....at the premier inn anyway...the price goes up and up the nearer the date....also when i booked it seemed a 4 person room was the same cost as 1 person staying....so its probably wise people just upgrading to 4 people anyway, that way if someone else needs to stay, theirs space

cost me + anna 58 for both days But yea I imagine price goes up nearer the time..
