I just realized that some people hate on Nollie Wheels. I never heard of that, and I'm wondering why. ? Somebody?

don't know the full story, something to do with them copying berlinwood's mold. This was ageeeees ago though.

I have nothing against them, they make good wheels and that's what matters really to me anyways

man i had a 5 page letter/email about it such a long story theres more too it than people think. in short really short they did bad things so we dont like them

I think that we should not hate on them... as sola said, they make good products, that enough.

As far as i know they teamed up with wicked stix who copied berlinwoods mold or something, i still don't see how that should make nollie hated, they just made a bad decision.

But yes, they did copy their mold, and still do today. Rory says his nollie deck is the same mold as his BW OM.

yeh the story i was told was that nollie wheels and wicked sticks made an exact replica of the mold of the bwom and they tried to bribe the carpenter lots of money to give them their mold but luckily they did not succseed but their mol is incredibly similar to a bwom :\ i might buy one because ive always dreamed of having a bwom but nollie wheels are not a bad company i have a set of heir non bearing wheels and they roll just as well as g6's and are incredibly smoooooooooottthhhhhhhh

yeah Kerry just beat me to this.....thats totally not what you would want to put in the mag.....advertising a hate campaign? not a good idea.....

i know the story, to what extent i dont know, but i choose not to support nollie wheels....

true bobby, but you dont know how true it is....you could run it i guess, if you had first hand proof/was involved with the story from the offset, but as it is, you know nothing more about it than me saying to put a part in the mag saying
'Danny Hyman has a small penis'.........because i told you too.....

I would be really interested in reading the story, but it might make you lose some business.

Maybe if you do both sides of the story, it might be better. Rather than "Why everybody hates Nollie Wheels", do "Fingerboarding History: The Nollie Wheels Controversy"
