Traditionally, skateboards sometimes have a stripe to easily indicate the tail side of the deck. Also, I guess rip and foam style tapes have less potential designs you can have without affecting performance. Also, I don't know if anyone else had this problem... when I bought my bwom, it came with a sheet of cut rip but it was much too small for the deck so I had to cut it off-center so that I could grip the nose and tail sufficiently and forcing me to have the stripe. I will personally use full coverage when possible. |

| That was my problem with rip on my spiral, had to stripe it. Fusion tape is HUUUGE it fits anything. |

| I also forgot to comment Eddie's setups. Fucking amazing. Anyway, my setups aren't exactly all that new but it'll be the first time they're posted here. Konata is helping me display some boards. First is my main setup (has also been called the OG setup): I've had the same setup for 3 years but I've slightly changed it now. Forgive me if it's not new but I've never posted it before... Berlinwood old mold deck, old Riptape, Tech Deck trucks (mixed blue baseplates and raw hangers), Substance Ivory single bearing wheels (still rolling), old Riptape bushings and washers, mixed Tech Deck mounting screws. Freshly regripped with the old Riptape. You also can't tell in the picture but I have sanded down the front 2 mounting screws from black to metal for easier identifying of the nose. I've seen this discussed in the thread but this is just my method of doing it. People with very good eyes might notice I have 2 longer mounting screws on the back truck. This is just a homage to freestyle skateboarders who use slightly longer screws in that position for better truckstand foot placement... and the fact that you get 2 extra screws with the TD Competition series that have longer screws. Inexpensive outdoor setup I am not afraid of breaking/losing: Close Up G3 Blue NOMAD deck (Euan gave me this for free), Close Up G3 grip, TD trucks (the Close Up G3 trucks are too narrow), Close Up G2 polyurethane single bearing wheels, TD bushings + screws. I was amazed when I found the wheels unused for years. I never used them since my G2 had messed up axles and I couldn't screw in the nuts so I would always lose wheels. Close Up G4 complete: I did order a black deck and hopefully Manu will be sending me a replacement but I set this up anyway. Best generation so far with really nice trucks but the deck too thin for the trucks. Still alright though. Tech Deck SHUT Segment Series Shape Tank deck (just got it off Danny today, cheers), not sure what tape it is, blue Dump trucks + bushings, Close Up G1/G2 polyurethane metal core wheels, TD Competition Series screws. I had 7 Close Up wheels in a bag for ages, lost 1 from the broken G2 truck mentioned earlier. I used 4 on another board and I've finally found the missing wheel so I've put them on this one. Also, I had to find some long screws to actually mount trucks on this thing so I swapped some from the Competition Series TD I have. This thing is seriously awesome and great for ollies and kickflips. Messes up the tres but feels really nice to ride. Also, I hope to be investing in a few other more modern fingerboard components in the coming months. The stuff I have is so old and cheap, haha. |

| Thanks guys, I love that deck and wheels so much I have used it for ages.
@Blosom yeah! I've kinda collected both fingerboards and figures for a while but only recently realised I could pose them together.
@Goldmidget I can't remember but it was at CS3. Maybe someone will remind me. I'm guessing Thom or Will. |
