- i got myGummy tape[u]
I just realised the cheap tape I got from eBay was indeed Gummy tape (I found my stash of fb stickers). I really don't like this tape. It takes about a week to wear into perfect grippy condition but after a few more weeks, it will distintegrate into a soft mushy mess with glue leaking everywhere and the tape itself expanding over the edges of your board and sliding around the surface of it or peeling up at the sides. It might last a couple of months but the worst part is trying to remove it. You can take the foam off quite easily but the adhesive and plastic sheet is a nightmare to remove. The plastic is very thin so if you try to peel it off in one go, it can't be done and will tear leaving you to rip a tiny bit off at a time. The adhesive is really sticky and also will be very grimy when trying to remove it. Even after removing that plastic sheet, that adhesive stays and is very hard to remove, I had to just use my thumbs to try and slide it off the edge of my deck and it's hard to get off your hands. Could be useful for decks you don't care about much though. I am expecting quite a bit of fb stuff though. After CS3, I see fingerboarding has progressed a lot in a few years. I got to try out a few expensive obstacles and fingerboards and liked them so I'll be investing in a bit. Not sure if I should list everything but here is some stuff I am definitely expecting... Replacement Close Up G4 Black skull hand deck (I ordered this complete but got a red one instead... it ruined my wood G1, white G2, red G3 collection lol) Ytrucks X3 Matte... expensive trucks but there must be a good reason why they go out of stock so quickly [Received my old Riptape kit to replace my old Gummy tape + TD bushings] |

What do you do with all your stickers? I still have like hundreds. Also off topic but where do you get those tiny stickers that you can stick on your deck? Mainly talking about the small Blackriver ones. |
