I sent a message to the Ebay seller about this and I'll wait to see what they say first. They were so cheap, I don't know if it's even worth selling. The low price will probably be too much of a hassle to sell. I think if you want China trucks, the best thing to do is probably to order directly from there. I appreciate the offer of unloading some unwanted trucks though. I may just keep a hold of them. I think if anything, I'd offer to give you some... actually, if you want to trade any sets for regular trucks, that would be perfect. |

Why not just buy some from eBay if you always need trucks? I'm not trying to be mean here or anything but it's just a suggestion. If I do sell the trucks, it'll be a lot of hassle for not much. I can't exactly charge much for the trucks because they are so cheap and then there will be P&P costs and having to actually post it. If it adds up to a few quid, you may as well buy some yourself. Although Danny is also in Leeds, it's still a bit of a hassle just for some cheap trucks that are pretty common to get. If he can trade me some regular trucks, I might do that though. Also, I just set up the Ytruck X3 and Oak V2 with the Tech Deck cruiser I got from Danny. They ride perfectly! Obviously, this is just a temporary setup. I have secretly been trying to assemble a high quality modern European fingerboard setup. I have the Ytrucks and the Oaks, now I just want a Soma deck. |

Turns out it got sent back to Phil and he's re-shipped it now. After I get this deck, I can finally complete my new Euro setup, I've already got my Ytruck X3s, Oak V2s and some Riptape. |

Probably Redemption MMC, BRT's(If deal with Nick goes through.), BRR Edition wheels, or just any wheels that are good, and Red Tape, cuz' that's all I got. Actually, I've got some major problems with the Soma deck. It's just arrived today but the holes are very bad. I can only get 2 screws on each truck and even then, they are very crooked. There were also a few other problems. I was going to write a review but I've messaged Phil to ask if he'd make me another deck but until then, I'm not gonna write anything detailed. Also, sorry but I've taken those BRTs. I PM'ed Nick just to ask about shipping to the UK and then also about the kingpin and if it was replaced with another BRT KP, I don't want to make it seem like I've gone in late and outbidded everyone. I've always wanted BRT 1s but thought they were too expensive at the time. Update on the gold regs: The ebay seller said that it was a coworker that sent me the wrong trucks. I should be getting the correct ones at some point. Please don't ask me for the wide trucks any more. They are now going to go to some people now. Update on the Soma: Phil was very quick to reply to my message and he said he will make me a free replacement deck. I hope I haven't upset him too much as he did clearly spend a lot of work on the deck. Also, I have now emailed Manu about the Close Up deck I was supposed to be getting. Haven't received it in 3 weeks. tl;dr: Waiting on... 10 Gold painted regular trucks from HK eBay seller BRT 1.0s from Nick Soma deck - free replacement 28mm custom deck from Phil since the original one had very bad holes and a few other issues Close Up G4 black skull hand deck - free replacement since they sent me the wrong colour deck the first time. |

| holes are such difficult thing to get right for new companies....ive spent countless hours faffing over them and making templates etc.
a deck can have the best plies, the best graphic the best lacquer, but without good holes its just...well you know.
i feel for you xi |

i feel for you xi I totally agree with you Blosom, i believe that is probably the biggest problem, honestly that should be the first thought in a new companies mind, how to make perfect holes every time.. |

| very true ross, holes make a big difference.. But I've got 3 somas and only one of them has bad holes, and thats only one hole on one truck that wont go in, I still got all 7 screws in otherwise.. infact I think they're the easiest decks I've ever had to set up, especially the one with all 8 screws on (the cliff). And the other one phil mentioned that the holes were off but he gave it to me for free so I can't complain there, haha.. But I wouldn't really kick up a fuss with 7-8 holes on a deck if it performed well. Phil is really helpful/friendly so you'll get a new deck thats better I'm sure |

| That's really good to hear he's willing to send you a replacement, it's a shame he didn't notice himself but still very honest of him to replace the board.. they look really good. |

I had to sadly figure that out this morning. I've always wanted BRT's, but since I can't use paypal anymore cuz my parent's filed for bankruptcy and blah blah blah, I've said the story too many times, I can't get any. I think I'll just get a new setup though from Redemption, who luckily accepts cim, with some china wides instead. |

| Well, like I said, I'm not going to write anything detailed about this Soma deck right now. Besides the holes, there are a few other minor negatives and some very good positives. If it wasn't for the crooked holes, I could probably get used to this deck. Edit: Awesomecakes. Manu from Close Up emailed me back saying the deck was probably lost in the post and that he liked my video on YouTube. Anyway, I've sent him my name and address and he should be posting me another one. |
