It's finally here!!! I won't waste too much time so I'll try and keep it brief.
I've been working on this mold for a looong time now, ran into a lot of trouble but finally I was able to work it out! My main goal was to make the shape as realistic as possible, with smooth dips not sharp v-shape dips. I feel I accomplished this goal and it is the most realistic looking mold I've had so I'm really stoked! Also, I noticed something when looking at my skateboard, the tails actually had some concave to them. So I thought maybe this could work with my decks as well! So when designing the mold I had a
tiny little amount of concave put on the tails, small enough that you can't notice just looking at them but enough that it's there. And from testing this deck out, it actually does make the pop a little better! The pop is more crisp and solid, and even with this mellow mold I can get a TON of pop from it, it's ridiculous.
This will be my newest M1 mold (low kicks/low concave). The nose is a degree steeper than the tail for a more realistic shape and performance. Before my kicks were the same but now you will always know which is the nose (if it's hard to tell I will mark it on the top of the deck
)
Ok here are pics!!
Also, all the holes on each deck will be in the exact same position, with special consideration taken as to their location in relation to the dips to maximize pop while still keeping control. And as always, I will allow custom orders so you can get the deck made to your exact specifications, along with the highest quality craftsmanship out there.
I'm going to take Deshawn's advice and make a FAQ just in case anyone had any questions!
1. When will you be taking orders?
I will be taking orders probably in late February/early March. I still have some manufacturing ideas to work out to improve the overall quality and consistency of my decks, so I can make more of them and stay open longer
2. Why is the deck so mellow? Will you be making higher kick molds soon?
Most of you may know that I plan to have 9 molds total. But in case you don't this mold is the new M1 mold which is Low Kicks/Mellow Concave. The rest of the molds will be as follows.
M2: Low Kicks/Medium Concave
M3: Low Kicks/Deep Concave
M4: Medium Kicks/Mellow Concave
M5: Medium Kicks/Medium Concave
M6: Medium Kicks/Deep Concave
M7: High Kicks/Mellow Concave
M8: High Kicks/Medium Concave
M9: High Kicks/Deep Concave
3. When will you get the rest of the molds?
I will most likely have the M5 and M8 molds before I open, but if not I will have them by April for sure. The rest of them will be here before the summer ends.
4. Will you be doing graphic decks?
I do plan on having skateboard-quality graphics using a special heat-transfer printing system, which should hopefully be setup by Spring. We will have regular graphics and pro-model graphics for the team as well. I also plan on doing more than one printing styles as well.
That's all I can think of for now, and again since I will be able to do custom decks you'll be able to pick the woods you want, how long/wide you want the deck, whether you want kingpin holes or not, and other options as well
And I will strive to keep my prices at either the same or lower as well! I want to give everyone the best quality decks while at the same time being affordable, since many products these days are getting more and more pricey. That's it for now, keep an eye out for more updates and when I will post when I take orders! Oh and last thing, we should be releasing the new Homewood video before spring comes, and expect a nice surprise at the end!

So much for being brief lol.
