| Your letters overlap to much, work on letter uniformity (same thickness,hight,ect...) don't try and get all crazy with add on's. I know it's easy to just add an arrow here, and a letter extension there, but your just hurting your letter progression brotha. Btw this is just my openion.
I took progression flicks of "fingerboard hq" and ruened it because I put way to much shit on it. Simple is the key, less is more right now. |

I didn't see your advice until after I did this, but thanks. I'll get working more on that. Here's some work I did the past few days. I've been spending time on characters a lot recently. |

Okay, how about you go and try to do this after only doing it for about 4 months. Post your pics of your graffiti you bitch. Yes I am a beginner, but I am accepting that and trying to get advice from writers that are experienced. So if you say I suck, (not saying I'm good), post your pics. |

straighter*** Improve*** Yes, someone already said that I should work on making my letters the same width/height. Straighter lines doesn't even make sense. Pics on your work please. |

| It is what it is, grow thick skin. Your only 13 so you have plenty of time. This will be the only time in your writeing where it's considered ok by most heads to bite. Remember you are looking for influence to find your style. Take a look at some actual graff forums and take your time. My first sketch looked like that. Just about every one just beginning the long hard road to good letters sketch looks like that. It takes a lot of time and effort to even get decent letters let alone not be labeled a toy. If I were u I would not be piece'ing yet. Kill hundreds of tags. Get a nice developed hand style, then a nice throw up, then straights/simple lettering. It's just one of thos things where you will know when it's time man. Good luck, most people see how difficult it really is and just give up. Also as u can see not a lot of folks are going to be nice to u. U are competition in the street and most times unless u have someone that will take responsibility for you, YOU ARE NOT WELCOME AND WILL GET BUFFED WITH ILL INTITIONS . You need to do this shit on your own for the most part |

Also, Am I biting? After some advice, I did this simple lettering sort of thing to make it "clean". And There's my current tag that I'm working on. Any advice? I am also taking a break from piecing. I only did that piece because I hadn't done a piece in a while. Also I am trying to do most of it on my own with my style and stuff, but I don't think it could hurt to have advice. Or does it Anywhere, here's what I recently did for clean stuff, and to show you the tag.
