Hahahahahaha. I swear that jacob fellow has been droped on his head as a baby or the soft spot on his head was pressed down to be used as a beer can holder. |

- man this will never get resolved if you don't help her to understand it. i mean if you can.
here's a story maybe to inspire you:
My uncle use to be so bad with not understanding the whole fingerboarding thing that every week i was finding obstacles missing decks thrown away etc. at the time i didnt have paypal, so i was using his credit card. and no lie like a week or 2 would go by and i would leave a deck on the bureau in the upstairs hall or on the mantle in the living room. it finally came to a head when he broke a deck i had just got the day before and it had my first set of brt's was attached to. dude i lost it not realizing it wasn't really his fault i blew up and we got into a real bad fight, so i spent sometime out with friends to calm down, i didnt really say anything to him nor did he say anything to me either. later that night i asked him if i could show him some stuff. and we just went through sites like flatface and blackriver then countless videos on youtube. the following day we sat down online and ordered a bunch of stuff to start making up for what he threw out. we found out it was him not understanding what it meant to me or that it was something with an actual purpose to it. he thought i was a 18yr old (att) that was clinging to kids toys.
he is one of biggest advocates now and once he realized how much some of this stuff cost... well lets say he is real cautious when he's walks in areas where i fingerboard now. But now that your all growed up you should be putting your toys away back in its container...not laying around the house. That way nothing gets brokened.. Just give them examples they can relate to, like fathers and theyre cars... best example would be a car, if you love your car, youll spend the best for accesories and do nothing but sink money.into it.. im talking about dads little hotrod though... its a money/times pit, a big boy toy. |

Simon, he was wearing a fingerdecks t-shirt at cs3, that explains everything. - DillonV wrote:
