Personally I think the wheels affect the board more than the trucks in terms of shape, grip, size and weight. Anyway, I wasn't criticising, I was just saying how funny it is.

Anyway, here are 2 Tech Decks I just got.

nice BW Max, its not a flatshape i dont think they exist....only wider BW09s with the same profile but for wider decks........ive got lots of BW09s and some seem to have higher/lower kicks and some have seem to have more concave etc...its just how they come out the mold...

is that tech deck on the left possibly the only one of its sort in the UK Xi??? loving the sticker job on it too, has a message somewhere im sure

Oh, the Tech Deck on the left is one of those prototypes of the Concave decks. The retail versions have just been released in the US. I got the prototype from a person on FFI. And yeah, Ross. I think it's the only one in the UK that I'm aware of. I think only TD people have them, TD competition winners (the comps were only available to US residents) and I think 6 FFI members from a comp on there (5 US peeps and 1 Aussie winner). The sticker job wasn't mine, it came like that so I've left it for now. It is starting to peel quite a bit so I'll leave it til I physically slide them off.

I tried to edit the post but FBHQ was being all weird.

Anyway, I set up the proto with China components. The bearings wheels aren't as horrific as I expected and I can realistically see TD being able to produce something like them if they were to ever take that chance.

The one on the right is one of the TD Wooden Competition Series. Again, the deck is not as bad as I thought.

They're both 26x98mm so they're close to my preference. My perfect deck would be 26x99 with low concave, medium kicks. Not that many people like skinny decks any more but I do. I'm also a TD collector of different shapes/molds/series so these are great for my collection.
