| I know there have been a ton of recent deck companies and i want to support the UK scene some more It's me and my dad doing this company. As some of you know I had an old company which was pretty bad but this time i know more about how to make decks we are getting the mold sorted out soon and the preparation may take a few months so this is just a warning I will be looking out for good skill on this community to hook up some riders but that is once we have a decent flow of sales. If all goes to plan decks will be around ten pounds(16 dollars) Also we will be stocking:tape(not china tape i've found a good supplier) ,wides, hopefully tuning, and maybe shaped trucks and hopefully some crete ramps. I hope to get this thing started in the summer Leave a comment telling me what you think of the idea and also what shape is your preference so we can decide what shape the mold will be |

| That was actually quite a bad one. Before i put it in the mold it was too liquidy so it didn't come out too smoothly but the next one i made i was more supervised and i used less liquid making it much more smooth But thanks anyway I'll look for that mold tomorrow |

| Sounds pretty sick to me. I think it's cuz' no one has seen a board made, so they can't exactly say anything. But they have seen the concrete obstacle. |

if i could maybe offer a pearl without you getting upset??? its going to take ALOT of stress and money and time to get your decks to a sale able standard.....just look at me for instance.....ive been making decks for over a year....yet how many blosoms are out their??? under 15??? although ive got a big batch coming soon, but the research/testing and the amount of times ive thought about giving it up, etc, etc, etc. and i know every kid thinks having a 'deck co' is a goldmine, but the reality is that it is not, and you have to do it for the love. if its about making money you wont get anywhere. cos their is no money in it. i hope you can be one of the ones that keeps with it and gets your decks to a great standard though and to keep it up and if theirs anything you need any help with regarding deck making send me a pm, and if i can answer it, i will |

| sorry  id recommend reading the entire ffi 'how to section' first, then lots of practice making your own mold, then maybe once you get good at it you would have found a decent material to use for your own mold, after that you would have spent ALOT of money by then pi55ing around and wasted noend of time and probably have quite sore hands from trying and probably feel like giving up.....now. if you want this to be a successful company the only way to go is to get a cnc milled mold. that way the shape is perfect, but then again you have to design it first and get all the dimensions perfect as you only get one shot at it... ive made 'bondo' molds. lots of them in fact. and if you want my advice if your serious. get a mold made. im trying to help you out here.......or you could ignor my advice, try your hand at making your own molds, over 50 quid later on materials that dont work and a few failed molds, and noend of time wasted, you might come around to putting the money down on a mold that works....... but what do i know??? prove me wrong and make your own badass mold. and if you dont know what kind of shape you want already....your about 20 steps too far in front of yourself. |

| Blosom it's not gonna be a bondo mold. And i seriously am gonna sound noobish but where can i get molds made because i generally have no clue. I've seen plenty of companies being sucessful with bondo molds. And if my decks are good I will get a metal mold made I just want to experiment with shapes for now not spend 70/80 quid on a mold to find it isn't amazing or the right shape. Once i have the right shape i will find somewhere to make me a mold ;P |

Look up local " tool and die makers" or " CNC specialists" in google for locals.. or if you don't want a aluminum/steel mold you can go bondo or casting resins..I prefer casting resins, they're simple, can't sand them so there's no deteriations, it's self-leveling, and super strong. |
