isn't a featherflip technically any flip you spin half of and then back the way it span? my friend does them in skateboarding, half a kickflip then with his back foot slams it down so it does half a heelflip, and lands. We've always called that a featherflip.

I'm pretty sure it's a half underflip or just an underflip

I wasn't talking about an underflip you guys, as far as I know a feather flip you is a flip you flip half, then kick from the TOP of the board, not underneath (so its not an underflip), and it flips half back again. Everyone in fingerboarding does impossible ones, but I believe you can 'feather' any flip trick. Or certainly the basic ones.
Maybe I'm wrong, but thats what I've always gone with in skateboarding
Watch shoji closeup's newest video, he does one into tailslide at like 1 minute into the video or something

Yeah, I'm with Kerry. Me and my friends call half-kickflip, then flipping it back a featherflip.
