So, I finally get around to shopping for some ramps, get a good list going on, and right before I go to order my mom brings up the fact that Canada Post just went on strike. No mail service. Now I'll be ramp-less for god knows how long. I'm contemplating going down to Wal-Mart and buying a few TD ramps, or maybe try to put my shop skills to the test and build some. Any suggestions?

It really depends on what obstacles you lack. I really love seshing household items like DVD cases, tissue boxes, books, the side of my laptop...

Been rockin' the side of the laptop for a while now, haha. All I have to work with is household items, so I'd like something that's actually made for fingerboarding, rather than spice racks and movie cases. More specifically, I'd like a bank/stairset with a rail (which is what first made me think of TD ramps as an option) and a box of some sort.

MAKE STUFF!

Go buy some wood reallly cheap from a hardware store or something, get some like 1cm ply, cut like 25x40, 25x 38, 25x32, 25x30cm pieces, stick them on top of each other, you have a sick double stairset. Make a hubba out of the same wood, sand the edge really smooth so it grinds like a rail. Sorted. Also you can make a box out of that wood. I dunno what prices are like in the US/canada but I imagine they're a LOT cheaper than the UK. I mean, canada is full of trees!

So, yea, buy wood for I imagine no more than 10-20 dollars, build stuff (all you'd need is a hand saw, sandpaper, and some glue), and enjoy it!

Also, I'm going to be making a tutorial tomorrow on how to make a decent cardboard quarter as loads of people requested it, so, yea, check unite/my youtube channel and look out for that. Cardboard ramps are really fun too happy

@Skullwood: Hahaha, yeah, Canada Post is shit. I've gotten USPS packages faster than packages shipped from Canada.

@Kerry: Thanks, man. I'm definitely gonna hit up the store today and get some wood. I wish I was really good at building shit though, cause I know I'll put time and money into building whatever, then when it's done I'll be like: "Damn, this looked better in my head..."

You can quite easily make a metal rail for this type of stairset too. Drill a couple of holes in the middle of the stairs, one at the the top and one at the bottom, then get a piece of metal (round or square) and bend it into the desired shape.
