I don't really know what you mean by soft to be honest :S But yeah it is really smooth, I've never had a ''proffesional rail'' so I don't have anything to compare it with, but yeah its nice And Skullwood, I just replaced the round ''legs'' (You know what I mean ) , with the square metal ones on the end. I have some aluminium handle that is perfect for grinding but your trucks sort of stick in it... i really can't explain it. I suppose aluminium is a softer metal though... never mind if you dont get me im probs talking trash
