If you're looking for something sticky, those zshred things are the way to go. they're pretty darn big though, good for outdoor shredding (they don't even wear down) to be honest, i really like the shape of the new techdeck/china bearing wheels. they're big, they're square shaped, they're very smooth. i know alot of people don't like them, but honestly i love em! haha good luck in finding that perfect wheel.

 Or maybe because they come from blood sucking vachina companies that don't support the scene? Just a thought. |

here's my perspective on it. i'm broke as anything. my friend gave me a pack of gum the other day and i got really stoked, it made me realize how broke i was haha. i'm not about to go blow $30 on some flatface wheels, like i don't know i guess it "supports the scene" for mike to make more boards or something, but, whatever. from what i've experienced, the bearings are fine. my only need for a "bearing" wheels is just a wheel that is tight and doesn't wobble all over the place. frankly i'm starting to realize how silly it is to stress over the issue of stuff being made in china, after all it is a toy. i think the way to really "support the scene" is to actually fingerboard and keep it alive and well. i've been getting into fingerboarding in sinks and random places that i find when i go out, just because i'm bored of sitting at my table and doing kickflip nosegrinds on the perfect marble whatever. there's only so much of that you can do before it gets stupid. i'm just a little frustrated i guess. focusing on this stuff is lame, just have yourself a good time. and that concludes my little rant. sorry.

100% true if someone wants to use china let em as long as they're havin fun while doin it.Some of the people here try to make fingerboarding to serious and not as fun as it would be to just fingerboard and not care about all the stuff you could get and which thing is better.

China companies take money out of the scene and dont put anything back into it. thats the truth. buying from flatface is supporting a company that drives fingerboarding forwards and makes it better and bigger and keeps it alive. buying from 4corner fills some 14 year olds wallet for a week.

yeah i'm sorry i got this way off topic haha, like wayyyy off topic. i have one little thing to think about though. is supporting flatface really putting money back into the scene? now i love mike, i love flatface, no disrespect, he came up from a little company to a gigantic US distributer. i feel like he, along with alot of other people are trying to carry over the european scene to the US, but it's all just silly by the time it gets over here. this is like a whole other discussion that i'm sure many have argued the crap out of.

that is a very good question. i didn't realize this until recently. i love watching the videos from the crew over in germany and all of europe for that matter. i've seen so many dudes who are so creative with building things, going outside to spots, shredding with friends, doing stupid tricks, all that. personally, what i see people doing, is watching these videos, getting super stoked, then looking to a US distributer for european products. now maybe, in their minds they think "dang, if i get that setup i'll have that much fun!" it's like this. it's like a little kid who gets a skateboard with all the "coolest" brands. that kid keeps skating. six years later he might look back on his first setup and be like "what the heck man those products were so lame!" but the little kid bought them because they were labeled "high tech" or "NEW!" i don't think that you'll actually think that about fingerboard products years from now, BUT possibly we're just trying to get that feeling of fun by simply buying the products, then sitting down at our desk all day. basically, in aaaalll this what i'm trying to say is, make your own fun. that has nothing to do with china wheels does it?
