Hi People,
Just wanted to introduce myself. My name is Tyler, i'm from Pensylvania in the USA and I recently got back into fingerboarding, I had tech decks when I was very young (I'm 27, probably to old to be doing this now but whatever). I picked up a cheap tech deck recently for shits and giggles and haven't been able to put it down, I take it everywhere with me which led to some internet investigation only to discover all the amazing things that are happening in the community as well as all the incredible products. I just ordered my first real board a Yellowood Man-O-War graphic and i'm hoping to snatch up some Blackriver trucks and winkler wheels for it real soon as well. I work as a touring musician in a pretty well known band so i'm hoping to be able to hone my fingerboarding skills with all the downtime I have on the road.

When i started getting into the online scene i was a little hesitant about the age thing, but then i started reading ppl's posts and to be honest age doesn't really enter any aspect of this scene it's just what you can do with your two fingers man !! lol

Yeah welcome but theres already a thread. So what's the 'well known band' you're in ?

first, your not too old to play with toy skateboards. im 32 and fingerboard often.

second, there is a thread for introducing yourself. what makes you so special you should have your own thread?.....

and leading onto the third point nicely, maybe you are royalties? 'well known band'? you know we are all intrigued now...

Thats pretty cool i used to listen to them alot.The guy who dated katy perry is in that band right?

Glad you guys like the band. We have a new single out now with Adam Levine from Maroon 5 called Stereo Hearts, its on itunes and probably youtube somewhere.
