Got my new setup but it's not riding nice at all,I think it's the Oaks aren't going with my shaped Redawns,It doesn't help that one axel is longer than the others though haha.
What do all you guys ride with your Oaks ?

FYI I'm not dissing Redawn,I've used their trucks tons of times,I'm just seeing if Oaks are better suited to other types of truck

I'm pretty sure most people use ytrucks or brt's.

Yeah oaks are optimized for blackriver and yellowood trucks
Make sure you put them on backwards with your wides like it says in the instructions
you should probably buy some new china wides

It actually says in the instructions that Oaks are designed for modern fingerboard trucks like BRTs or Ytrucks. I don't see why they wouldn't work with shaped wides though. Maybe try shape some yourself?

the best way to use oaks with wides is the put the washers inside them.....on backwards with washers in them....they work fine then.

OAK wheels are designed to be used with the new generation trucks;
The biggest hole is in the backside of the wheel;
The main current concern that you must have is if your type of trucks fits inside of your oak wheel back side;
In TD trucks or any re-shaped trucks make shure they wont damage you OAK wheel; If they do damage, use washers to protect. Turn your wheel around (the backside wheel is now your frontside wheel), put the washer and then the wheel. Dont forget to use the washers!

Yeah i read that part regarding washers and turning the wheel around etc.. tbh i think it's prolly the longer axel.
Gonna pick me up some BRTs i think.

Would dual bearing wheels not always be more stable

if you have just put the wheel the other way round and it works fine
