| My friend oscar has been using tech decks for ages he's not amazing. It was his birthday the other day and he got some money so he said he would buy a fingerboard. I tried to steer him towards buying something from fusion. He ended up buying 2 china completes from ebay for £15. So I really don't know what to say, I tried to tell him not to do it but he did it... It's just china decks are fucking awful :/ when he could have bought an mmc for 8 quid and then bought some china wheels for a fiver... Next time he buys something I really need to get him to buy a proper deck.. |

| I'd rather have my friend buy a china complete rather than no fingerboard at all, or more TDs. At least it's a start. |

| I assume my 4cfb complete I got about a week ago is a Chinese deck, but it performs really well IMO, But then again I don't know any better due to this being my first real fingerboard.
So what are the major differences? The shape is nice are other well known names shapes far superior?
Is it how there machined, my dek is very well made looks like it was pressed in the same style as a real board?

Redemption's are great decks james. I have an mmc, the kicks are too low for me to use, but it's still a great deck, great craftmanship and great "pop". |

| Higher kicks= higher pop? or is it in regards to flip tricks like on a skateboard where deeper concave is faster flips |

| higher kicks = easier to pop with, to begin with. I can barely flip a high kick board, I like mellow medium decks And seriously you guys suggesting china decks are good are hilarious. Yea they're made of 5 plys but the two shapes they have are horrible, they've got no proper sanding, shit lacquer, no quality control, and they're basically turds. I fucking hate what 4cfb do these days and just offer pre packed, mass produced fingerboards that claim to be on a professional level, really cheap. Everyone who comes into fingerboarding now sees those products and doesn't even begin to support real companies out there because they refuse to believe more expensive products are better, so they just stick with china shit. No money going back to companies who support fingerboarding = bad news for the scene. I mean, two completes for less than the price of a set of flatface g6 wheels? Messed up. |

That. High kicks cause overflipin'. China doesn't give a elephant about the scene. (elephant lol.). Give him one of your old decks. |

| there's the argument that if some people get china decks/completes for a first set up then they will in turn take fbing more seriously and 'buy' in to the scene.
I don't think it'll be long before the vast majority of new starters will start with china completes.

| If you're getting your friend into fingerboarding, take them to CS4 or Little Wheels (use this as part of your argument for him to let you go). They should then be able to see what true fingerboarding is about. |
