| Your preferences?
My current laptop only has Windows 7 64-bit although I do have an Ubuntu 10.04 Live USB so I can use that without actually installing it.
My old laptop which I occasionally use for testing and getting old stuff has Windows 7 32-bit and Ubuntu 10.04 dual boot.
My old desktop which I use for capturing/encoding video runs Windows XP.
University computers are XP and OSX.
I've used Macs before when doing college and university work but I think they're still very limited and definitely overpriced. Not all games or software for Windows are released on Mac although you can get limited compatibility with Wine/Cider. Macs usually have hardware that is slightly dated but the price does not reflect it at all. As for virus problems on Windows, I've not even installed any anti-virus programs on my laptops and have had no problems in 4 years. As long as you're not a retard or let retards use it, there are no problems with that. |

| I'm using a mac at the moment, and it's perfect for what i do, everything i need!
I was a big fan of Ubuntu 10.04 until my old laptop passed away.
Also, Windows Nemesis <3 |

| Ok i dont give 7 shades of sh!$ , you call me spoilt. Ill take my views on you, but you're to childish to keep them to yourself. Atleast I know when Im 18 I wont be flicking at a 12 yearold for what they have fo sho. bloody helfire, its my money not my parents.
FELXBOARDER NO! im not saying that at all! im saying that thom's just being childish and picking on me for what i have. Thom I didnt ask for the lappy so stop trying to make it seem my fault that my dad earnt money and decides to spend some.
AND Nedim that's because you haven't met me, i personally think you're gonna be, wait wait wait. I better not say you might no be able to take it. And ye he's awesome because he picks on people for what they have, I think Ill be a tad more "awesome" than that. TBH I don't even know why I said sorry he's making lame excuses about what I say to people, when its non of his buissness, such as when I said something about run-abouts and I didn't say Rory was spoilt and he's making lame excuses to back his weak plan, You hate me personally anyway Nedim and I hate the sh!t out of you, but I don't show so UP YO'S. Peace out mudda fudga.

| James you've done it again. This is one of many reasons the mods banned you in the first place. Anybody can fingerboard at any age. Fingerboarding is a hobbie not a part time job. Thom is 18 and he fingerboards, so what? He's still way awsomer than you'll ever be. Little douche. |

you dont deserve to call yourself a fingerboarder now then. amen. and if your fingerboard is 5 inches long id suggest getting a shorter one. i have a pc. xp service pack 2. no bells no whistles. job done. also quad core and intel processor....and at least 3 g of ram and your fine....and shat tons of hard drives.... pcs are all well and good....and for browsing the net their fine....but if you want more rock solid 'pro' quality for music applications or software, mac is the way to go.

| If that all fingerboarding is to you i suggest you move on. What's the point in taking part in something if you know you're going to stop in the near future? Also, it's much more than a "pice of wood". All the true mates i've made, all the memories i've had at events, that my friend is priceless, and it puts a smile on my face thinking about it every time i pick up the thing.
Hmm.. wish i was 12 and had thousands of pounds to spend.. |

| you're such a baby Thom grow up and stop picking on me for what I have.
And its my choice wether i want to stop. Yea I've met some great people on the way, before you were picking on me i thought you were a role model. But now i don't see much. Rafi Finn Billy Xi Kerry they're all great people. Yes maby i screwed up on that one, it is abit more that a pice of wood you're right. It's not my fault my grand parents die and hand down money its not my fault my friends give me money on my birthday.......
Just stop it Thom.
I really like this to do in my free time, but if it carries on like this im quitting fo sho |

| The whole reason why i called you out, you're quick to judge the likes of Toebex, when it seems you're just as bad of what you're accusing him of? Doesn't seem like i'm the baby when i'm being mature about the whole situation, rather than making remarks about Nollie Runabout Wheels at any given moment where Rory is listening. |
