Hey everyone
I'm quitting fingerboarding. I never thought I would but I'm just at a point where I don't enjoy it anymore and its become like a chore. I have too much other stuff to focus on in my life right now and I just don't have time. I may come on this website now and again, and I may keep one setup in case I change my mind in the future, but I highly doubt I will. I've met some amazing people on here though and I'll stay in touch with some of you on Facebook. So yeah. I hope you all understand and I wish everyone the best for the future whatever you decide to do.

Maybe if you quit Prowood it wouldn't feel like such a " Chore"..

Hey Stace. Sad to hear that you'er quitting. There's always methods of getting motivated like watching/making/recreating videos, new obstacles and board components, change of scenery, that kind of thing... but I guess if you're really not into it, then don't push yourself to do it. I also wondered if having a sponsor made you feel like you had to fingerboard more, dropping the sponsor is an option if that's the case. It's good to hear you'll keep one setup though, will you be getting rid of all the other stuff?

I just don't find it fun anymore. And no, tbh my sponsor is what's kept me fingerboarding for a couple of months now. When I first started to find it like a job that I had to do not that I wanted to do, it wasn't because of my sponsor, it was just other things that were happening in my life. People seem to think its because of Prowood, but they have been whats kept me goin. They've stuck by me and I've stuck by them for a year or more now. Anyway yes I wil keep a setup, so I can pick it up in a few months or so to see if the old spark has come back but don't hold your breath. I will probably get rid of all the rest, like I said I will still come on here occasionaly and I have some people on Facebook so I can keep in contact that way. Like I said I've made some great friends, and met loads of new people on here.
Thanks for the advice Xi, I really appreciate it And thanks Peter

Thanks Kerry. I may still make it to that meetup if we still have it, and see if that changes my mind? I don't know. :/
