the url you had in the img tag wasn't pointing to an image, but a page with the image on it, specifically your flickr. If you right click on the picture itself and go 'view image' (might not be called that in internet explorer, dunno, I use firefox, either way it'll be similar and you'll know what to click), and it shows just the image on the page, and the url in the address bar is the static address of that picture, not a page that has that image on. Its the actual url of the image you need the put in an img tag. You'll know you've got the right url if it ends in .jpg or some other image format

And, they look aqua/turquoise to me, which is blue + green mixed together.
BUTT.. pc monitors + peoples own perception of the colours blue and green change that a lot, so, I guess thats merely my view of it.
