So, as most of you might of seen in the newest ramps thread, I got a BWNM berlin wall graphic.

I just noticed a problem with it.
If you look on all the pictures on the websites, you can see all the decks, blank or graphics, have kingpin holes.
Mine doesn't >_<

anyone know if they stopped putting kingpin holes on them? or if mine is just lacking?
I know I get brrs for christmas, but, I wanted to use my new deck before then..

well, the new gen TD trucks don't have kingpins that stick out, and same with YTrucks and BRR trucks, so that's why.

I brought a td earlier and the kingpins stuck out more than I've ever seen : o They were factory painted black trucks though, so I guess they might have been old..

Still, I find it hard to believe they don't put holes any more when all the pictures of the new graphics, you can see the outline where the holes are, but are hidden by the graphic layer.
I'll email brr tomorrow and see what they say

my freind got one last week, his has kingpin holes, i think yours might just me an odd one out :S

They should have kpin holes, spesh as they do in the pictures, but, yea, I get to use it at christmas when I get my brrs regardless so I'm not tooo fussed

takw the kingpin out, drill the bottom of the hole so its bigger, put kingpin back in stops kingpins showing, you can do it with a TD tool but it takes time

ur serious? because my friend got one as well. they have it. definitely. i think urs is a manufacturing error. u should contact brr if they could replace it. its ridiculous when u pay like 53 bucks and they can screw up on stuff like this. BRR is professioanl i think they should

idk maybe but i think its okay i just kinda carved it out it was pretty easy

No, I assumed that'd be the case and tried really hard to scoop away any sort of graphic covering it.. the graphic covering the screw holes came out without any problem, there just isn't any kingpin holes.

Luajh, yea, thats what I thought, thankyou for confirming that. Emailed brr yesterday, waiting to hear back.

just use kp tuning if you have any

now back to the topic,i think we shouldnt avoid the problem by using KP tuning because its avoiding the problem. brr should face up to their manufacturing error, when ur paying so much. u must remember ur are buying a BWNM, not a mitt.

They've still not replied to my email, which I think is a bit lame. I shouldn't have to get around the problem, when, it shouldn't be a problem in the first place. Spesh not on a 30+ quid deck.
I don't mind too much waiting til christmas to use it, but, yea, not a happy bunny with berlinwood atm.

If they've stopped, a) its a dumb idea imo and b) they should announce it..

no they dont, loads of companys have stopped putting them in to make the decks look more realistic.......dumb idea

^yeah, kids that want to buy an expensive deck probably wont have the money to buy expensive trucks too, its not fair imo

Seriosly, what does it give to make something "realistic" we dont want realistic stuffs we want fingerboards....
Why stop making KP holes??
kingpin holes dont destroy your board
If you got trucks without KP holes you can still use them...
