Ex-Tape Review

Ex-Tape is a new griptape company recently started by Harvey Glynn. Ex-Tape is a Neoprene foam tape like rip and fbs.

In the pack you get 5 Uncut sheets of Ex-Tape and 1 business card. The pack costs £5 + £1 delivery to the UK, but mine was free because its a sponsor pack.

The tape is very open pour, so its not smooth like fbs. Its not rough either though. It feels soft and grippy, which i really like. The tape is as good as fbs if not better, usually if a tape is not very good, Yellowood slim tape for example, i cant do tricks as well on it. When i put the ex-tape on i could do everything as good as on worn in fbs, thats when the ex-tape is not worn in. Once the ex-tape is worn in, it feels better and is more grippy. Also, the tape cuts quite nicely, so its easy to apply.
One thing i noticed is that the sheet of tape isnt flat, unlike fbs, I mean that the tape has been curled up and still is like that when you get it, but its no big deal. One other thing that could be improved is that there are no stickers, again its no big deal but stickers would be cool. Harvey says he going to try and get some stickers printed.

Overall, id really recommend ex-tape weather you have a tech deck, and want some foam tape to improve your setup, or you have a 'proper' setup just want to try different tape.

To order Ex-Tape, you need to pm Harvey on youtube or on here, or email him.

Thanks to Harvey
