Which is better Flat face G12 wide or the ordinary G12's? does 1mm makes a difference? I need your opinions. Thanks.

Well,

The FlatFace G12 is a fairly basic fingerboard. Medium kicks, no concave and no dips. The width is ok 27mm.

The wide is 29mm (berlinwood) and thats about it I think, but if I were you I'd get a G13.

Well,If you're gonna buy stuff from flatface: get a g13, I have one. It preforms like a dream.
I tried a g12 too.
For me: G13>G12
It's all matter of preference now.

ive had a 2 g12's and i love them i think my next board will be a g12 wide or a g13 though, most people look at companys decks that have little/no concave and think lol its crap, but g12's are really good! also if you want a wide-ish deck thats got a smallish concave get a blossom!

Damn I ordered the G12 wides already. :x I like how G13 are made it's so damn sexy and has a little concave compared to G12's. But the only thing is, I'm worried about is that G13's are 30.5mm wide and I'm currently using 27.5 and 28mm. I think I need to get used to G12 wide first then upgrade to G13 soon or perhaps Berlinwood. But out of curiousity, how does it feel when stepping up for a wider decks like for example 26mm-28mm is your deck preferences and suddenly switch 30mm and up. Does it feel uncomfortable when doing tricks?

My preference has always been for thinner decks but you can get used to wide decks quite easily. There is only one wide deck that I really like and all the others still have something that I don't like with them.

Hmmm I see.. I'm just scared to burn the money for a thing that I'm not going to enjoy but I think I should see it for myself. Kinda excited to try one soon. Well since you guys are pro's and playing for about years now, can someone differentiate what is the pros and cons of wide decks vs. average/thinner decks if there's any? Thanks!
