| The only stuff that was missing was underneath names, Posts, Join date, Age, Location and Sponsors.
Is there any way to make the banner wider and thinner? Or to make the tables of the forum thinner? Because i think that's why the layout on Unite works, everything is inline with the banner, nothing strays outside the lines and plus, the banner's reasonably close on Unite, which flows with the menu bar. |

That will be changed, thanks And well, I can make the forum thinner, so that fits, that's a good suggestion. - Danny Hynam wrote:

not to be a bum danny but lots of people actually did, I'd say at least half did. I know you don't like it, but unless you don't want a theme like unite, which the majority did, then I don't see what other colour would really work as a background. Its got to be something simple I think. - Rdcruzer wrote:

You actually like these colours? Crazy I'm going to make a poll, everyone please vote, it'll be on the portal soon. If I retry the new layout again, it'll be fixed so that you can see all the text, there are slight differences between each post, and the width will be changed to fit the banner. So keep that in mind |

| Well yeah, lots of people did, but quite a few also didn't, just my opinion if everyone is happy with white, then that's cool, It's everyone's forum I just find white boring and hard on the eyes to me it makes everything look out of place too, things such as banners, avatars, images etc. but I'm not going to argue with everyone else's choice I was just throwing in some ideas Also, I like these colours too |

Because I don't want this to be unitefingerboarding, I just suggested they be similar themed to see them as a UK based collaboration, not just to be a part of unite. People seemed to like the idea. If changing it is really going to drive away valuable members from here I'd keep it the way it is. I'm no good at forum design so what gets designed tomorrow is probably going to be naff. If you're not busy and would like to be a part of this redesign, say so, I'm sure you can do a hell of a lot better job than I can and everyone on the forum will appreciate that in the long run I imagine. And its always nice to chat |

| I think having a Unite forum would make it even more worldwide than FFI, and it'd be welcoming too because well.. it's Unite! |

| ^ Right, I think the collaboration and joint forum/blog would be a good idea. Perhaps have this forum more colorful with dark and light greens; simply to bring a lighter and more friendly atmosphere to the community of (Unite) Fingerboarding.
Unite, and FBHQ are different and everyone loves Unite, so if there is a virtual online "Unite" community where those lovers can interact with others, they will be more able and aligned to wanting to join the forum. Good idea to bring more friends and fingerboarders in IMO.
He's right. |

| well, its interesting to see people would see it as a positive move! I always wanted to do a merge between the two sites, but I didn't want to seem like unitefingerboarding would just take over here, I thought that would be unfair, hence my negativity towards the idea just now. new poll is up on the portal, please vote people! If enough people would consider a merger, it could well happen! What ever everyone thinks is best, I'll try my best to do |

| Personally, FBHQ is nice and all but unite sort of has the same meaning. Head quarters meaning a place for everyone to join and talk, and unite meaning a place for people to do the same thing. I see nothing wrong in merging, when looking at it as simply as that /\ |
