| I love skateboarding, saw Tech Decks at some store as a kid and just started from there. Taking pretty lengthy breaks between stopping and starting fingerboarding again, though. |

| I heard about Teck Decks a while back in school, so I asked my mom to get me like two ramps. Then I came across a video online of some pretty good fingerboarding. After that, I got sucked into it haha |

| People at my school at Tech Decks. I had a non TD plastic fingerboard, moved to TDs after that one. I was on TD forums back in the day and heard about homemade wooden decks from sites like Moshmelloz and other sites featured on Sites That Grind. I didn't want to go through the effort of making my own so I stuck with TDs for a while. Then people on TD forums talked about brands of wooden boards (Close Up and Berlinwood) and I eventually managed to obtain my own Close Up G1, G2 and Berlinwood old mold regular. I also found a cool review of Substance Ivories on YouTube that prompted me to buy them from Arctic*. |

| My cousin influenced me to skateboards. After a while we usually play Tony Hawk pro skater on playstation consoles. And last 2001 my best friend gave me a tech deck. But I don't have an idea how to play it. I remember that I'm doing ollie with 3 fingers before hahaha. I want to make it as a hobby but I don't have the money to invest the ramps and stuffs coz I'm still a student at that time until I decided to resume it again last August. |

| i decided to start back skating last year and i bought a tech deck, signed up on tech deck forums and started learning new tricks and the whole online scene, then i bought a redemption last december and bought some more fb decks, then i almost quit, then i bought a new deck then i kept on going from there.
i eventually bought a g12 during the summer traded it for a finga like on flatface, traded it for some wheels,, got scammed by holden, bought another 4c deck deck and traded my pure for a mad genius with winkler wheels, and giving the deck away and giving my friend my 4c deck and waiting on my push m3. |

| i used to skate (roll) but lots of people had the first like plastic element/whatever company key chains with the janky plastic wheels that break off after like 10 min.
stopped for a bit after that, then td's came out and i messed with them for a bit off and on, never thought fbing would be anything like it is now lol.
kinda neat.

| I got into fbing about 12 years ago when I was still in high school tech decks were still pretty new and everyone that skated would buy em and mess around with em, I got out of it soon after.10 years later I decided to buy one for my 3 year old son and I ended up playin with it more than he did of course and went from there on to bigger and better stuff. My son still fbs or tries and it gave us something to do that does not bore me or him although I am pretty dedicated now to the hobby and love comin home from work and going out in the shop and shreding to relieve the stress of dealing with numbers all day as a civil engineer, its the best thing.love it  |

| I had a tech deck when everyone did as a kid, like 10 years ago.. never knew what to do with it. then almost 3 years ago now I saw fingerboarding online, wanted to try it again, and got a close up g2 blank. Fell in love. Started the second biggest fingerboard news site in the world. Got famous. Got bitches and money. You know how it goes, haha |

| When I was really young I used to collect them. (thats why I have so many old ones) Then I stopped for a while and I redescovered where they went. (under my bed) I was trying to do tricks on one day, pressure kickflips. I decided to search them up on the internet. I searched tech deck new and thrashed an saw a review from FSS. Then I saw Martin Beckmann's never before seen tricks.. video and it started from there Fingerboarding saved my boredom |
