So what with the updates to unitefingerboarding.com finished, I've finally got a lot less on my plate and can turn my attention somewhere else that needs attention.

What would you guys think on a similar theme here, to unitefingerboarding? I know white background can be hard on the eyes for something you read for a long time, such as a forum, so I was thinking maybe we go back to a grey background. But then stylistically change it to have a similar look to unitefingerboarding? Basically, it'd 'unite' the two main UK fingerboarding websites, give us a lot more interest, and make the site look a lot nicer and more professional.

BUT, its your forum, not mine, so let me know what you think. Have any other suggestions? What else do you want done here? I'll try and get as much done as is possible and everyone agrees on

Also, the other thread died and I lost track of what people thought.. new moderator, suggestions? I know Xi said he didn't want the position, unfortunately, so someone else.

AND FINALLY, expect a lot more love to be pumped into this place once the redesign is finished

Well we could use somthing a bit brighter. More cheerful if you know what i mean.

On my non-fingerboarding experiences I found linked sites did really well. If you have the power to change the the theme of it, as well as the design you should really get a new one. This one has been around for AGES. What I mean by that is the width, length etc.

I really like the Unite theme and you did an amazing job on it

Unites design looks good although I agree that the pure white may get hard to read after a while

i would love a redesign because its quite dull but i agree it does seem to be a nice, easy layout which isnt too hard on the eyes, maybe a logo change up and some suttle changes and it would be good

Tbh I really love the design of this site haha, and I especially love how it doesn't have a background that hurts your eyes xD

I think you should go for it Kerry, do what you have to do and link this with Unite and make it look good, make a 2 day trial run or something and get some feedback

I also think that you should make Steven a mod, he's American and on here enough so why not!

And are you looking for an American mod? Because I don't know of that many American's on here except Ray and myself.

Is Harvey cool with this? I remember him getting mad last time this place got changed, but then again, he hasn't been on here in a reaaaaaaaaalllllllyyyyyyyy long time.

I would really love to see changes to this forum. If you are intending to replicate Unite's theme on here, I would be OK with it as long as there are changes to Unite as well. Currenly, FBHQ is just on the bottom of the friends links but if you had a tab at the top that said "FBHQ Forum", it would give this place a much better status. Even though FBHQ and Unite are UK based, I think that getting international users for both sites is very important. That's not really an issue for Unite but it could help FBHQ out if you had that tab. Furthermore, FBHQ could do with an American timezone based mod and this may just be a great step forward to obtaining one (or many).

im loving the whole green and outdoors theme, its really refreshing so good job on that! i think linking the two sites together by having similar themes would be great.. can i also suggest the name changes. fbhq is abit meh, i have no suggestions for a better name but something that would go with unite?

Yeah, last time didn't go so well with that, so you should at least try to contact him, even if he doesn't reply, first.

tbh we shouldnt care about him that much, yes he started this place then when it wasnt so popular he disappeared, he doesn't fingerboard anymore and its not just his forum its ours, we can do what we like
