Hello everybody, i have a video for you to finally introduce Oblivion Skate to the forum. It has been going for about 1 1/2 years and has a website at www.oblivionskate.com
Anyway i have made this sweet double ledge, and plan to start selling once people start buying!
At the moment ebay is going to be the easiest (and safest) option, as setting up a shop on oblivion skate could take a while. Nothing about the ramp is really finalised yet, although i don't really want to change the design much. Please watch the whole video, and if you can't be bothered there are photos at http://oblivionskate.com/apps/photos/album?albumid=12324375

Didn't notice the stencils first time around, I'd go with the first one man, make it bigger though, about the size of a 2 euro

thanks
i dunno though, i might just drop it, seeing as nobody seems interested in buying them. Personally, i dont think £15 shipped is expensive for what i've put into making them... (or should i say "it")
but yeah i alsolutely love mine, its so fun...
about stencils, i'd probs give people the choice of 1,2 or none coz it's not like i'm mass producing 'em

Lol Peter that is low for something he put work into.. 15 seems reasonable to me and I understand getting a deal but 12 with a deck is seriously lowballing it

yeah sorry man but i agree with ryan... if you read my previous post i pretty much said that £15 shipped is the bare minimum i could charge... let me lay this out to you.
Plywood - 2m x 1m high quality £10 Aluminium cornering - 2m £9
I can make maybe 10 ramps from those materials, and i would need more metal for that. I spend about 3 hours on each one... UK minimum for 16-18 year olds (i am actually 15) if £3.68 per hour... so i would make £12 (shipping costs £3) in 3 hours so £4 per hour, minus cost of materials.
Maybe you are right, but i don't think that is me asking for too much? Nobody else seems to think so either
I appreciate the build quality is not near as good as professional stuff like blackriver, but then i am using 100% hand tools as well And what could you buy from br for £15 shipped?

Well i am charging £12 for the ramp - not negotiable.
A first class stamp costs £2.48, (delievery 1 day) which is whats i was going for (the packet costs about £1 too but i will agnore that)
But if you want me to send it by second class (delivery 3 days) it will only cost you £2.16 so only £14.50 say total. better?
How long before you will want one? just so as i can get it made before you order, not after

I would buy one. They meet up to my high-standards I spose. But you don't ship to USA. And for 3 hours each? That's pretty bad, think about mass producing them by getting a lot of wood cutting like 10 of each of the same part and move on to the next and part and before you know it you'll have 10 made in 3 hours. I would make ramps like these but I am usually to busy in the summer with skating. Maybe this winter I'll try to work something up. Where did you get the small angle iron?
Price is fair tho. Maybe get a burned logo on the side?
