I try hard to learn but I don't seem to progress much.
I don't know what's up and how people learn so much. I need to learn to be more consistent and clean and to be more techy n ting but I don't get how :/

just practice and try to do tricks when u are sitting on the computer (do tricks that u are not consistent with them) and try to do some nice combos and stuff

Try to understand why the tricks you do, do what they do man, I use ta do it in skating I would study the trick and try to discover why the board done what it done and try to find a way to recreate it the same way everytime like if you get a trick perfect Mark your finger positions and try do it the exact same way all the time no variation I'm finger placement

Just go back to the basics man and get them all down solidly. Get all your basic flip tricks down flatground and get all your grind and slide variations down. Don't try to mix the two until you have them down solidly on their own. Then just start with simple tricks like kickflip 50-50, or 5-0 or nosegrind, or fs board, and get them down perfectly. Make sure when you land straight into the grinds. If you cant then go back and practice controlling your kicfklips. Just have fun and don't get caught up in the technical stuff. If you watch my videos, they're not very technical at all. Not saying that I'm good, or even a good example, but just try to get everything down smoothly. Observe how a trick works on a skateboard. On a fingerboard you can stop and start momentum at will, but on a skateboard you cant. Just try to imitate this to some extent. Don't stop or slow down when you get intro a grind, don't stop when you change grind or whatever. Just basically try to get everything smooth and controlled and progress at your own rate. I think it's you trying to rush things that limit your potential.

just do tricks that you feel you can do that what make you have your own style.

This is exactly what I've been doing for the past week now. I've just been getting my kickflips even more consistent, and just getting all my grinds consistent. After a day of that, my kickflip fs nose grinds were more consistent, and easier too. I didn't know anyone else did this haha

i think what you need is maybe a better camera and some less tech tricks and just have fun, i mean i hate trying to do tech shit which just dosent feel right. just pull the tricks you have fun with and dont worry if there the best

i think now, normal kickflips are probably my worst trick, i land about 5/10

Its all about creativity and selecting a trick to get good at and landing them real consistent over a few months, what i did with nollieheels and plan to do now with nollie tres

You need to chillax and just do it for fun.

Trying to do it just for the sake of doing it will never yield any results... You gotta do it because you wanna do it and because it's giving you a shit eating grin.

got my kickflips, tres, switch flips, switch tres, nollie heels and nollie flips really consistent

I really like doing simple stuff, I never try and do techy tricks into some weird ass grind. But thats just me, I'm guessing you've noticed that from my videos that I keep it simple and be lazy,
