| I just made this thread as I have found a fond eye for photography.. A background to all this madness is necessary. My uncle is a professional photographer with pictures published in newspapers such as The Telegraph. Here are some examples, not going to embed the images as it would waste space :] https://i.servimg.com/u/f44/14/04/83/58/n6762810.jpghttps://i.servimg.com/u/f44/14/04/83/58/19451510.jpghttps://2img.net/h/oi55.tinypic.com/5xkgvn.jpgSo, what makes these pictures and any others for that matter so spectacular? Firstly, the setting. If you have a good enough setting, with all the perfect colours, you're onto a winner. E.g. An insect on a grassy or plant background, totally fits in etc. Secondly, the brightness. If it's too dark, it will be unclear and quite horrible. If it's too bright, it will strain your eyes and others for that matter. Angle. This is probably one thing most people will forget about. Angles make a huge difference. The angle could include little features that would make the image feel empty without.. If anyone else has anything to add to this, feel free. Other images you have would be shweet too |

| I always think that the angle is the most important thing, you can make the most boring thing look amazing. |

| Too be honest, if those are actually your uncle's photos, don't brag about him; not good at all.. especially the 2nd one. Just IMO.
But aperture, angle and depth of field do it for me.
The combination of the right angles and focusing with the right amount of zoom colors with an interesting field of photography or landscape, make it a good photo. Photography is photography.
Every person has their own style and what they like to shoot or view. |

| Anyone who is remotely interested in photography should learn the rule of thirds and at least have an idea of how f-stop and apeture work... If you can control these things you will be able to make your photos look amazing. Trust me I'm currently taking all of this stuff in school. |
