| I love FBHQ more, stuck with it a long time and will never stop! But I really love the more personal threads on FFI and the threads like "Would you rather?" And they get like 15 pages of stupidness haha, yeah I love chitchat there xD
But fbhq is so special, we should have more open topics that entitle more of everybodies opinions and post dilemmas so we can help out and grow as a family <3 |

| Let me just start by saying, I just got back into fingerboarding after about a 2 year break. I want to say a main reason why I fell off was because I didn't feel like I was apart of anything, and my opinion didn't mean anything at all. All there was is FFI and the most you can do if you're not a member on there is browse and really just read other people thoughts and opinions on everything going in the fb scene at the time. So there really wasn't much of a community behind it to me.
Now finding FBHQ, I feel like I can say stuff and have it be heard by the owner of a company, or I can give my 2 cents on how a new ramp this random kid made looks. I don't think it was only the lack of a forum for me but my lack of maturity possibly.
When it comes down to it, I think FFI is a good website for info about things going on in the FB world, but jut not a very community build forum. Like I've real, others act better because they are on the forum which makes no sense. At this day and age you just know people who know people. That shouldn't make anyone any better than another.
This is by far best forum for fingerboarding that I could find, that is well moderated, has a fair sized community and allows up and comers/ people getting back into the scene have a say.

Honestly, I like it here more, but FFI, some people don't like me
Some people on there are cool, some are not. but I remember on yesterday when Evan Williams called me the biggest hypocrite on the forum. I just ignore little pricks (excuse my language) like him.
But as I was saying, FFI isn't all that bad, most of you should try to get signed up, because your only saying your opinion of the forum, but you never really experienced it yet. That's cause your posting stupid things. When I was a Starter poster on FBHQ i used to post 1000's of stupid posts everyday. So yeah. Try to remain silent and calm (chill). If you really wanna post something, think twice befo' you post it! Honestly FBHQ is growing and advancing every month. But the problem with FBHQ is becuz people think it is a British Based Fingerboarding Forum. In the past few month's it was, but Now we have lot's of new members from FFI(USA). On the other side, negative side, we have the Video Promoters, Grammar noobs and Bad attitude members. But let's face it, every forum has to have that. The problem is FFI has lot's of those problems FFI is good cuz lot's of ehmm.... famous company owners/fingerboarders have a account there. Like Mike,Jordan,Todd. So you can easily communicate with them via PM's. I like both so yeah. and why da' fuck do I have to say so yeah in every fucking post. |

| Every FBHQ user, from my experience, has been polite, friendly, and actually talks about fingerboarding. Unlike FFI...
That has actually caused a lot of the popular fingerboarders, (like Mike Schneider, Jay L, Tim Alexiel, Tim Hurley, Taylor Rosenbauer etc.) to keep an arms length away from FFI. It's a cycle that is present when you have a closed-registration forum.
1) New people come. 2) A couple of the newbies spam and don't follow the rules. 3) Some members (who have been on the forum for a few months) feel entitled after being on the forum for a specified amount of time and decide to troll. 4) Members who do contribute get sick of the drama and leave the forum.
Repeat.
Through my lurking, I have not noticed much drama here! |

| It's because of Kerry's good choice of moderators (especially that sexy Danny Hynam beast) and the general kindness of all the members that makes this forum what it is today. I'll admit, there's been lots of big problematic events while I've been on the forum. Holden, Sadie Bailey, to name a few. But they're always dealt with perfectly and the forum goes straight back to it's original self.
Bravo to Kerry and the mods for making FBHQ what it is today.
Personally, the second I joined FFI It just didn't feel right, and I was instantly back on FBHQ. I don't know why, but someone always has to cause an argument in every thread.
So yeah. .

Through my lurking, I have not noticed much drama here! You basically just said everything. I don't hate ffi though, it's just that some people think they have the right to bully other people and they don't even know them. I would like to see alot of the views on ffi get put on there to show some of the members on there that think ffi as cooler and better are wrong. And I would love to see all this " we obviously have the right to bully and troll a new member over one simple mistake" be put to end, or simmer down, but we all know that's never going to happen. Which starts fights, and gets almost the whole forum to hate you, because the victim doesn't know any better and will continue to feed the hungry troll.

| Yeah, I'd love to see it go away too. Actually, the trolling was like ten times worse in the past. Still, I would just love to see it end. Sometime I feel like fighting fire with fire and troll the troll, however, it sets a bad example haha. |

| I'm really glad everyone loves here. FFI has its ups, and here isn't free of its downs, but I think here is a much friendlier place. We can all do our best to keep here here, and try set a positive example on FFI thats the best thing to do really. Effect change by being said change. And if FFI doesn't change, there will always be here |

true (: everyone loves unite and fbhq, before i joined this i really just made videos and let them sit there and accumulate views it sucked lol, and my opinion on ffi is i understand why there keeping people out but it shouldent be like no one at all is allowed in, you should have to take a detailed survey about stuff and tell them all your info like what your birthday is and send them a copy of your birth certificate, anything to makesure you wont be spamming the site and making it trash. im pretty sure Chris Daniels from flatface came from ffi to here, and its probobly because its such a friendly inviornment, its like were all family. |

| Here my point of view on FFI. Since quite some time, the forum change, a lot of people get an account, but most of them barely know how work a forum (search engine, general topics, ...) and create a lot of useless post, sometime, the same day, you even could see 3 differents post talking about the same thing... Cause of this and other little thing I got bored of it, each time I open the FFI forum, I looked on the new posts, and I close the window without looking any of them. Here, the peoples are more aware of the forum life, mods and admins are doing good job, post are often intelligent, barely no trolling (exept some friendly ones and Holden ). Even if I don't post often, I read, and most of the time, some people (always the sames) post what I wanna say, but in proper english. FBHQ and unite is my main reference for internationnal fingerboard news |
