| Here man, go check this out. http://zshred.com/catalog/index.php?cPath=53_54They sell other cheap wholesale products as well. Look under the B-Imports section. I've never tried these, but it's the cheapest I've seen, and they look pretty decent. however, if you have the cash, I'd recommend checking out Z Shred's boards as well. I loved their low concave, medium kick boards. They're really great for beginners. |

| Try Temple fingerboards or Zonawood. Zonawood are handmade by Nathan Garber and only cost $15 for a custom (£9 if your Bristish). Temple are made by Ryan (sorry forgot your surname ) And only cost $11 (As I know of) and cost £6 if you are Bristish. If you want trucks and wheels go with propaganda trucks and No comply wheels. |

That's a sincere question, by the way. I'm not being an arse xP I loved the Z Shred board that I used and learned the majority of the good tricks I know with it. It always was my deck of choice, even after trying flatface and berlin wood (trying, not owning). Good boards and products in my book, no doubt. But nobody really seems to like them. Why is that? |

| Because nobody in the world has ever talked to the owner, I pretty sure he doesn't even fingerboard, being a friendly customer owner gets you a lot of respect and reputation in a small market like this, even when he messed up my order which I opened on Christmas day (was a custom, and turned out to be someone elses custom -__-) he was so not friendly and wasn't sorry at all, he just wanted to send me another deck and keep his money
The fingerboarding world is tiny, theres no room for companies like Zshred to take all the orders off businesses like flatface, blackriver and nocomply because if they did, then the scene wouldn't push forward; rendezvous, huck jam and fast fingers would simply not happen and there would be nothing to replace it, because Zshred have taken all the money and simply don't give back to the community! |

| Im not saying anything "guitarmeetsjake" But, (what Rafi said, and Billy) are you supporting Z-shred because they're giving your company products? Besides for a bearing wheel complete, its barely more than a Bollie deck, or berlinwood inc. billie equipment. . . Just try and stick to "honest" (can I say that?) truly legit companies; because like rafi said, the scene isn't going to move forward if companies don't give some of it back to the scene. But, my best bet is (50 euro/dollar budget) FlatFace complete Maybe CloseUp bollie/berlinwood complete (berlinwood/bollie deck with, boll wheels, billie trucks and tuning) Or try Fusion Distribution if they're still selling they should have some decent stuff going for some decent prices thanks ~James~ |

Seriously man?
I've been fingerboarding for like 2 months and I know not to buy Z-Shred. haha, I love you man, Skype on the weekend? Listen, nobody is stopping you buying from Z-shred, but if you want to help the scene, try and support, NCD, BRR, FF, Oak, Blosom, Forgiven, temple, love-drug. 'N' shit. . |

This is very true. I didn't know anything about the owner and my orders always shipped fast and I was more than satisfied, but that's just me. I know how companies like this are. However, my very first and the only order flatface ever has or will get from me (and my brother), Mike did not send our boards. Even after months of phone calls, emails, and even forum posts from my brother. That was after we sent the money, so he basically stole $60 from us and never sent us our stuff, even after we were absolutely SURE that he had way more than enough time and that it was certain that he knew we had not received our products. That made us very upset, so I can completely understand why you don't support them regarding that. All the other stuff is true as well, but I don't see customer satisfaction being a huge issue to everybody (such as myself). It's good to have it, but as long as I get what I ordered and it works good, I won't complain. That's just me though. - James.P wrote:

No, I'm not supporting them JUST because they're helping to supply Northwoods with New Era wheels. Simply put, we just like their wheels. However dissatisfied people are with any lack of friendly customer support from Z Shred, they will definitely get that friendly support from Northwoods, because that's what we're all about. Besides, we're just getting started. There are plans to create, improve, and sell all parts of our fingerboards, not only decks. But believe me when I say that the New Era wheels are an amazing step up from the wheels that were being sold with our standard completes. Those things were awful. It's what we have to work with for the time being and a lot of people think that they're awesome wheels. If anyone is worried about any lack or support from Z Shred, they now have the option to order the wheels from our website with one of our boards. |

| Very affordable performance fingerboards: http://www.northwoodsfb.com/Official_Website/Index.htmlI like zshred and i'm the one who suggested jared to buy their wheels because they are both american made and affordable. zshred products are great products. Just saying. I understand that everyone is mostly concerned with the scene over the products. And I respect that. But I bet that half of you that say that zshred is trash probably doesnt even own one. And your just monkey-see-monkey-do trash talking zshred because everone else is. Thats very mature. I personally dont care who or where my stuff comes from as long as I get what I wanted and i'm satisfied. Thats just my personal perspective. On another note, I still have not recieved a response to any of the emails I have sent to Mike, but I still buy from Flatface. Quite frankly, his customer service is completely pathetic. Its a given that he will likely only respond to people he knows in the scene. But as a paying customer, I certainly deserve a response to my emails. And lets face it, noone is that busy that they cant answer an email within 3 months. Hes just as shady as Zshred if not worse but I still buy from him. Actually, zshred responded to both mine and jareds emails, and mike has yet to. |

| ^well, when buying a replacement wheel I got replies every time, within 3 hours. Mikes customer service is one of the best out there, because he employs his mum to help answer emails. Also, people on this forum who have had problems such as Kerry when his wheel broke, mike has said to send it, and have then sent a replacement. perhaps you were emailing a wrong adress or something. Also, I have owned a Zshred a long time ago, it was awful. The kicks were too short, it was uneven in width on each side, and it sucked. |

| I sent the emails to mikes email on his main website so i dunno. Send two emails in 3 months and he never responded. No big deal anyways. zshred decks have certainly gotten way better apparently cuz the decks that I own are all perfectly identicle and they are very large decks. They are actually too long in my opinion. But the wheels and other products are flawless. smooth as butter and very high quality bearings. |

| I think we seriously need to stop talking about Z-shred and Northwoods. You CAN buy them man but just know Z-shred is a big fuck off to the scene. Redemption, Temple, Lovedrug (Soon) and a bunch of other cheap companies make solid decks. As Xi said as well Close-Up makes very decent completes for very competitive prices and they are definitely not a fuck off to the scene. I don't want to hear about Z-shred or anything anymore because it's honestly just derailing the fuck out of this thread. |
