| I wanna know if it actually does. My brother told me to stop fingerboarding on our kitchen counter like 10 minutes ago, because my mom would get mad. |

| It can leave dents depending on how hard you bail into primo, also on the material of the surface.

| most times no, if you have wooden counters than its more likely. |

| it does really bad if you have wheels like oaks where the axles stick out.....then it scratches the table to buggery....other than that not really....unless its a soft wood, in which case you will know as there should already be lots of dents in the table anyway....unless its brand new. |

| Yeah the axles fuck it up. Depends what it's made of.. even hard wood will get scratched up by it, soft wood will get properly dented. Marble and granite are fine. Glass will scratch. |

| So I basically have no safe place to fingerboard. I think my kitchen counter is made of laminate? How about that? I NEED a place to fingerboard on, without getting yelled at haha. |

our table is a really soft wood, and the fingerboard just thrashes it.....what i do is put a big thin piece of wood over the top of it, then ride on that. sorted |

Maybe I'll use this sheet of veneer I have in my hallway, cuz I can cut it with scissors haha, and it would be easy to move around and put away. Now it's just figuring out the size of the piece. Off to my hallway! |

| Funny you should mention this.. I just stopped to examine the desk in my dorm room after I began to realize how loud it was when I caught the board wrong and slammed it down. It's really tough wood, so it isn't dented or nicked any. However, the finish is not so tough. I've been scratching it to hell and back without realizing it. xD |

I've used them before, but it feels kinda weird. With veneer, it would feel like wood, at least I hope haha. |

| I only fingerboard on my desk since it's soft wood and it's smooth and it's wide enough to hold all of my obstacles, which I have turned into a park. And it's closed in . I rarely fingerboard in the kitchen. |

| i went to Home Depot and bought a few pieces of marble tiling, brought it home, and just put em on top of my dresser (which is where i usually fb). the marble provides awesome pop, i protect the wood underneath, and it makes muchhhh less noise. |

| Whenever I fingerboard at my house my parents scream at me, I just do the "Mom, look the wheels are like plastic, Wood Vs. Plastic, what do you think would win?"
Needless to say I get my way.. |

Needless to say I get my way.. plastic will scratch... so will metal axles, and wood decks will dent. |

| It all depends in the hardness of the surface. I don't think it scratches much to just roll around, its doing a 3/4 flip thats the worst table killer, haha. |
