| Guys, I think I understand why people make many topics that can be posted in Quick Questions.
A lot of people keep asking and people tend to ignore the earlier questions. I think people should answer first before asking.
I think that we should implement a rule, that before asking a question, at least try to resolve the one that came before you. That way, people won't feel the need to post questions as topics because they'll trust the Quick Questions thread more. |

| If this was somewhat directed at me because of my thread earlier, then what you stated is not the reason why I made it as a thread. I just honestly thought it wasn't a quick question. |

Not just you, Steven. Just pointing it out because even I'm tempted to post quick questions as threads because people ignore my questions there. |

| perhaps it is that people don't see their questions as 'quick', I certainly didn't think that Stevens was a 'quick' question because we could have easily had a full discussion about it |

That's what I've been thinking too. Like it's hard to classify what it is a quick question and what is going to spawn a discussion. For instance with Steven's thread (not to single you out man) like I could see a discussion going about bushings but at the same time he might only get one answer and then the thread drifts off into cyberspace... |

| How about before making a thread/posting in the quick questions thread, ask yourself if your question could be answered in one reply, or if it might need a big discussion on? If it's the first, then post in the QQT, and if it's the latter, then make a thread? |

This wont work because not all the people who ask a question know the answer to a previous question. Anyway, I always try to answer quick questions that I am able to answer unless someone else has answered or another person would be better for answering it. |
