| I just got this Tech Deck Concave yesterday at Wal Mart, so I will do a review. Packaging-The Tech Deck came in a nice box, it came with an extra set of wheels, stickers and a tool. This was the Concave one so on the right hand side of the box you can see where it says Concave Tech Deck and also, it came with a free DVD! It was a Tech Deck Training DVD but I watched it last night, and it was really good, I need a few tutorials myself.10/10 Design Of The Board-
The design of the board is a Bobby Worrest Krooked Deck, the design is really well done, the deck has a Blue middle ply which makes it look really cool, and I thought by looking in the package it would have foam tape, but it didn't but oh well, this deck is really good. 10/10 Performance-The performance of this board is unbelieving I can do most of my tricks that I do on a wooden board on this concave board, It has very good pop and the concave is just perfect. 10/10 Width,Concave,Tail,Nose-The width of the board is around 28mm I believe because the board fits my 29mm wide trucks without hanging off too much. The concave of the board is amazing, not too much i think it is way easier to do your tricks with a tad bit of concave. Tail, the tail of the nose is medium to low which is pretty good. I personally like lowshaped boards. The nose of the board is medium to high because you need to have the nose bigger than the tail for your Nollie tricks and switch tricks. 9.5/10 Overall-The deck is amazing, it's only 3.97 at your local Wal-Mart. Comes with a free dvd like I said. Go buy the deck while you can, there were only 2 at my store, so I bought one and I bought a Tech Deck with Chrome trucks! hope you like my review! more reviews coming soon. |

| The review was alright. You should add in some of your own pictures or at least some stock photos from the site.
I'll make a few other notes from my own TD Concave decks too for the sake of extra information: Measuring directly from rail to rail, the width is 26mm but if you measured around the curve of the concave, it comes closer to 28mm, like you stated.
The reason why there were only 2 in your store is because there are a total of 12 Concave graphics that will be made and there are 2 that are released in each "Mix". A few mixes are released each month and stores order them (although stores might not order every mix that is released). All 12 of the (plastic) Concave TDs have been released now so if anyone wants one, you should buy one now whilst they're still being sold.
The concave TDs have exactly the same shape as the orange prototypes.
The DVDs only have videos of TD tutorials and stuff that have already been posted online.
I agree that plastic doesn't perform as well as wood but it's still a cheap lil board to use. |
