| My neighbor at my mom's house (apartment building) has been filing noise complaints due to loud noise after 10PM. This noise is me fingerboarding. |:
I've heard her bang on the wall like, 3 times tonight while I was seshing. So apparently I can't fingerboard after 10PM, which is stupid because sometimes I'm not home from work until 9PM or later. |

| Put books to fingerboard on, it drowns the noise out completely. |

| Purchase granite slabs to fill up a table? I personally hate seshing on books/magazines. |

Oh man that sucks hard!
But as fellows like James and Kerry have said get out some books or something. I personally like to take my old Dungeons and Dragons books (big ole hardcover beasts) and turn them into stairs or gaps. Throw in a rail and you can make do.
ALSO.
Sometimes places where they cut stone throw out their stone with their trash and if you ask them you can take pieces... They are usually perfectly cut stone that was dropped and broke on one side. Basically they make really awesome surfaces to fingerboard on because they are usually super smooth polished stone and you can usually swag enough to make a gap like the books. Go for the biggest ones you can get and don't settle for tiny little pieces... Only grab surfaces that are about as big as a magazine (sometimes you can go for a little smaller than this but anything smaller I find just doesn't have enough room.) Just remember to clean them off with soap and water if they've been outside. |

| ^ You're ghetto, I saw those massive ass slabs as well <3 Personally, I think Books/Magazines effects your ability to fb on harder surfaces. But thats my hypothesis. I think (quoting from Max) that if you get some hardback books, many it wont be as bad. Or if your right next to their apartment, try a different room. @Crunchy, granite tiles will just be even worse, well unless you put magazines under them, but IDK, my parents don't mind hear (solid flooring) and my neighbours are too far away to hear anything |

but IDK, my parents don't mind hear (solid flooring) and my neighbours are too far away to hear anything I'm not ghetto! I'm just resourceful! But for reals I'm so happy that my room is on the opposite corner of the house from everyone else. I've never had anyone complain about me fingerboarding. It does suck that I can't fingerboard in the kitchen in the middle of the night though... That's my favourite spot. |

| Well it's kinda common courtesy not to fingerboard at night. It does make a loud noise regardless of the time but people do need their sleep. Even as a fingerboarder, I sympathise with neighbours who wish for peace. |
