Right guys, so i've got the address and whatnot now, and let me tell you, this seems fantastic.

And finally, found out that it's best to go to Lostock for me and then walk down. I may be there early, or maybe late, not too sure just yet, i've taken a look at train times and it seems i'll be there just on time.

Balls. A year since the other big event in the North and I can't go to this one. I would have well been down for this.

If you truly want this to be legit and as big as you're hoping - a) why are you only contacting shitty companies aside BRR for sponsorship, and b) why did you just appear on the scene and attempt to do all this yourself with little knowledge? This would be awesome if you'd got others to help you organise, and there still is time for this.

things that need doing -
-better sponsors, maybe even give back the prowood and nollie stuff because its just a negative on the event imo. If you want a decent list of companies to get stuff from I'd go for lowpro, no comply, flatface, redemption, mitt (they were SOO good at sending stuff for cyclone 3!) blosom, and airflo.
-a schedule that isn't far too packed, because trust me, it just wont happen like that. Maybe have two events, because the kickflip one sounds lame. Save the giveaway to the end I think, and don't have a specific time when people can trade, that's silly.
-a decent flyer
-a name, and one that isn't just a rip off of something that's happened in america/germany.


So basically clean this up and, and you get..
-my support and support from unitefingerboarding, fingerboardhq, and my new project when its out (soon).
-maybe my help with organising the sponsorships, as I have a lot of contacts out there.
-I'll try my very best to get to this with the unitefingerboarding park AND my brr street plaza dos. Billy cant go though so I've gotta find someone else to drive me up


To anyone that wonders why I don't stop being harsh/blunt to this kid? Because the UK scene NEEDS more events, so why the fuck does the only thing that happen end up a half assed thing? Lets do this properly, together. Work this into something awesome and have just as good a time as Cyclone 3.

Well i can guarantee just from the place it's held, it won't be like FF14 or the likes, i doubt we'll be able to play music.

thats really not what I'm saying at all, I'd just never heard of this person before and like their first post was 'hi I'm making an event'.

When he said he'd have my support, I meant with getting the word out. Not saying 'OMG THIS IS UNITEFINGERBOARDING x HARRY EVENT', just 'hey, this is happening, I'm going, you should too.'

I think any event should have more than one organiser though. Awesome people like thom, harry, danny, etc etc etc who've all been around for a long time and know what is what in the scene here. He can organise an event, I'm just saying he clearly doesn't know exactly whats up as there have been some issues with this, so why not get some help from someone here to make it better? Again, lest you think I'm crying, I don't mean me.

Found a picture of stephen fry on google - you were right I'm geniunely sorry if I caused a dispute, I'd hate to think something silly like this would mean we weren't friends. I know we've never really spoken loads but still, I consider almost everyone here a friend. Hope all is good.
